TechNiche InternationalHyperKewl Cooling Beanie

I really like this cooling cap. I have original HyperKewl material ballcap with snap on/off neck protection. That is great for hikes. The downside is that the brim interferes with taking pictures with eyepiece or wearing some sunglasses. So while I like it I was looking for something I would use more frequently.I ordered the blue version and am very happy with it. The HyperKewl plus material has a gel inside of it that helps hold onto water longer. This helps you stay cool better.I overheat very easily and have the cooling helps me stay outside longer and even helps inside with headaches and concentration again when I'm have warm bursts.If it's dry and windy it can dry out in ~1-few hours. It still is helpful in warm humid air. There are days where I can use it for majority of the day. So results very. I suggest having a ziplock bag with water to re soak or to have water to just pour on it occasionally as needed.Size fits well, there is a bit of elastic at backside to accommodate larger skulls or more hair.Taking pictures, wearing inside, wearing more frequently, and sunglasses all are better with this. Because of the gel don't send through the wash/dryer. Because it doesn't have the brim rinsing and cleaning is easier then the ball cap were the brim gets stained and less cleanable.I'm really glad I found this

I ordered this item to use while golfing in the hot South Carolina summers. Being near the coast, it becomes very hot and very muggy in July/August. I had one of the blue cooling towels and it worked well, but cooling my head was a priority.The TechNiche cooling cap is a different material than the towel, but works on a similar principle. I tried the cap on one of our hottest days this past week. I soaked the cap in a cooler of ice and water then wringed it our before putting it on. It was very cool and very refreshing. It did exactly what I hoped--it cooled my head quickly and provided a lot of relief from the heat. It looks a little goofy, so I put my straw golf hat on over the cap--no problems.The cap stayed cool for a good twenty minutes before I took it off and re-soaked. It probably would have been fine if I just did the snap trick, but the cold water and ice was hard to pass up.Overall, I think this is a good investment for cooling down in hot situations. It fits well and doesn't slide around. It cools as advertised and it fits under a more conventional hat. A pretty small investment for the relief it provides.

Works great in warm temperature with low humidity, if its windy, it works even better, I use it working outside in Arizona, I use this with a similar cooling vest. When the monsoon come and the humidity goes up, I switch to an ice pack vest. I would recommend this item

Good on hot bike trips

Well i have used this for three weeks now on and off and guys its not worth it. The fabric is very thick, it's not what you see in the photo. the beanie is short, fits poorly and has not kept my head cool. I wasted my money.

Thicker than expected. Have not used it yet. I may wait until it gets chilly to put under my bike helmet

Product seems okay but was too large. More sizes would be nice.

It works fine, does not stay cool as long as expected.
