For the price point this kit has everything you need and is a fair deal. My only complaint is that once you use the lubricant/glue set liquid it drys fast. I know it says that on the bottle but it drys holy cow fast. I’d say after you spray the liquid on the tape you have maybe 5-7 seconds to slide the grip on the club. But with a bit of practice and patience you’ll get the hang of it. The tape works great and once it sets dry it stays dry. The razer is perfect for what you need and the instructions are helpful. Used to set 11 grips, still had about half the bottle left from catching the excess. The tape is great quality, it does set up fast. Probably about 10-15 seconds of time to set grip.

I had no idea how much grip tape could make for installing grips. This tape is super easy to use. Luckily I ordered this grip tape before knowing my grips would come with tape. It took 3 attempts to get my first grip on with the “other tape” and I couldn’t get the alignment marks right. I tried the second grip with this tape and it slid on in one shot and gave plenty of ability to align the grip markers. All grips, even from different makers, have all been just as easy with this tape. This tape also holds great. I have used it on all clubs for 3 people now and there is zero slip or movement of the grips. Regardless of grips or club, I keep this tape in my kit so I can always change out grips quickly, easily, and solidly.

I had to regrip a 52 degree wedge, and ordered a new GolfPride grip and this kit. I looked at an instructional video before proceeding. The hook tool worked really well for me, and the old grip was off in 10 seconds. Then I cleaned off as much of the old adhesive with a scrub daddy. I didn’t get it all off, but figured it would be better than going over the old. Then I put on the new adhesive, following the instructions of leaving a bit over the end of the shaft and then tucking it in. Putting the new grip on is where the video helped. The key is to use a lot of the solvent. Stick a tee in the grip hole and load it up. This will keep the grip from getting stuck mid-install. It’s a bit messy, but in the end it goes fast and you’re all set. The new grip looks and feels great, with no instability. Couldn’t have done it without this kit!

I just had a few grips to change and this product fitted the bill. The knife could be a bit stronger but it did do the job OK. The tape and fluid were absolutely fine and the secret is to keep the grip moving when you put it on. I would not hesitate to buy again if I need to do more grips.

Alles gut- nur ist die Flasche kein Spray sondern eine normale Flasche wo man die Spitze abschneiden muss. Das macht die Aufbewahrung schwierig. Das Messer zum aufschneiden ist wirklich sehr scharf und der alte Griff ist damit wirklich schnell entfernt. Auch die Klebebänder erfüllen ihren Zweck- der Griff sitzt nach dem trocknen bombenfest. Man sollte wie bei YouTube zu finden, die Flüssigkeit direkt in den Griff bringen- das auftragen auf das Klebeband funktioniert def. nicht. Auf jeden Fall braucht man nach dem ersten Mal keine Scheu mehr haben- der Griffwechsel geht dann echt easy.
