We used these in a painting class as a working easel - even though they are really more for just displaying artwork. Worked pretty well considering the price, but there is nothing to clamp the canvas and hold it tight. Will only hold an 8x10 canvas or smaller.

This worked well to hold an 11x14 frame (landscape). We used it at a funeral and were pleased at how it displayed our loved one's photo.

I hoped this would be good so it would take up less space for storage. It holds up well but unfortunately is not functional for larger canvases. The top of the easel rests on the canvas, not the wood frame and causes an indent. This wouldn't be an issue for smaller pieces but I typically work on larger canvases.

For the price, nice little product

I just got these easels so I could do some painting w my daughter and my friends.I tried them out last night. They aren't super sturdy I guess I was expecting a little more. Just have to be careful as the string that keeps the back leg out can be a little unsteady.It was definitely better than having the canvas laying on the table. It worked pretty good for my 8x10 canvas.

These are sturdy. Was dropped and didn’t break. Worked out great to display my grand daughter’s paint by number.

Even though I knew from the description that it was 11" tall I was expecting this to be larger overall. I bought an 8 x 11 sketch pad for my great niece and it really works best with the pad turned on its side. However, it is perfect to display a drawing but a little top heavy to use it to sketch with the pad vertical.
