Premier 1 Poultry Grit & Oyster Shell Feeder - 6 Lb.

Although I haven't quite figured out what magical 3rd item to add to this, the grit and calcium were perfect. Very easy to set up, to clean, and easy to spot in the run. Haven't had any issues with rain getting in despite it being in the elements 24/7

These are massive and only suitable for larger runs.I bought them to put the fermented food in and they have holes in the bottom, so not great for this purpose. But I'm going to silicone them and test one.Expensive for what they are, but the plastic feels thick and likely to last.

I really like this feeder. I bought it for my ducks, and it works great for them. The one thing I don’t like is that the divider isn’t attached to the bottom. There are gaps which allows the contents to mix. I used hot glue to attach it and stop the mixture of contents. So far, it’s working great. I do wish the divider was fixed, thus my four star.Some people don’t like the lid. I haven’t had any issues with it, and it seems sturdy enough to me, so I’m not sure what people aren’t fans of.In any case, I’ll be getting one for my chickens as well. It works well!

Easy to fill

My wife uses it for chincks for treats.

Very nice. Shipping makes it expensive but I’ve yet to find anything as good so I just bit the bullet. My local stores do not carry it. The top doesn’t pop off easily and it also keeps the poop out. It doesn’t overturn unlike everything else I’ve tried. For this alone it’s worth the price.

This container keeps the oyster shell together and clean. Way better than the open bowl I was using. And it looks cute too.

This is THE PERFECT snack feeder for my grit and oyster shells and seeds. I have bantams so you would think it wouldn’t need to be elevated so high but it does need that. It should really be sold with a stand. Only reason for three stars other than that 5 stars. Oh and I leave it outside it protects from rain.
