The dog food has a good portion size. It has been the best choice for my pit bull since there is no corn , wheat or soy. They also have a wonderful smell for a dog food . My dog loves the taste.

This dogfood literally saved our poor sensitive Pitsky. Mipha would throw up daily because she was sensitive to so many foods. Our vet recommended whitefish. My cats like it too! Keep it wrapped up tight because it's very fishy smelling.

This is the best dry dog food I’ve ever bought. My dog loves it! After a few weeks (2-3) her coat became so soft I could hardly believe it! Her body loves it too. She always has perfect bowl movements and although she is not a morning eater(only one dog so we free feed a measure amount) but sometimes in the morning she can’t resist. Yes it is a little pricy but only the best for my pup! I never had a dog you have to encourage to eat but not with Zignature. I highly recommend it. It should have 5stars but for some reason the site would only allow four. Never mind that if your dog likes fish then it’s worth it. I recommend this highly.

This is probably the best *dry* dog food experience our 5-yr old female GSD has had, however she has a terrible chronic skin condition (sebaceous adenitis) that we were hoping the Salmon would help, but unfortunately did not. We've been using for about 6 months now. The good experience for us is she really liked this food. We used to be 100% on Farmer's Dog, which has been the best experience, but crazy expensive. We had switched to 50/50 Farmer's and Zignature for the last 6 months, but unfortunately her skin smells terrible and she keeps getting skin infections. We were hoping to get off of the expensive Farmer's Dog, but we have made the decision to go back 100% on Farmer's so at least she can stop getting skin infections. I'm sure for dogs that don't have a chronic condition, this would be great, and the ingredients seem to be very good, so that's why I gave it a 4-star review.

My dogs love this flavor and this is the only dog food we will purchase! A good way to evaluate your dog food is drop a piece in water then squish it, does it act like a sponge? If so, how the heck can that be good for your dog? This dog food breaks up when soaked in water and squished, because it is cold processed not the cruddy other dog foods!

We have been very happy with Zignature Trout. My 1 dog has very bad allergies, so after doing research online about some of the causes of food triggered allergies, we decided to try Zignature. We needed a food that did not have corn, wheat, chicken or potatoes. Trying to find a potato free dog food is challenging- there are not a lot of brands that are potato free. My dog has much less itching & her ear infections went away after starting her on this food. She likes this Trout & Salmon, & we've also tried the Zignature Whitefish (my dog likes that as well). I definitely recommend this food: seems to have good quality ingredients & I like the fact that its potato free.Ingredients: Be sure to read the back labels of any food or treat you buy. It's very helpful to research ahead of time before going to a store or placing an order online, to know exactly what ingredients are in your pets food. Often times, issues such as itchiness, loose stool, & digestive issues can be solved by providing a good quality food (without all the filers). It truly makes a difference. Take a look at Zignatures' website because it has a lot of info about what exactly they put into their food. Unlike many other manufacturers, Zignature uses meat & fish as their main ingredients. (When reading a label, the items listed first on the label are the largest quantities of that item.) Many other manufacturers list a carb as some of their first ingredients, or corn, corn gluten meal, etc. Cheaper quality food will contain more fillers.Also important to note: Compare the feeding instructions when comparing food & costs. Some of the brands you always see commercials for (which are junk foods) will have feeding quantities that can be up to twice more. Thats because that food is filled with filers & items that offer little to no nutritional value for your dog. With better quality food, you feed less. My 35-40 lb dogs eat 1/5-2 cups a day.Highly recommend Zignature Trout & Salmon for dogs that have sensitive stomachs, who have allergies (or possible food sensitivities) that are shown with itchiness & possible digestive issues, dogs that need a potato free diet, & for anyone looking to feed a quality food with healthy ingredients.
