Looks wonderful in kitchen, brews a nice cup, large jug, seems to have trouble coping with water hardness

Really good machine
This is our first Smeg purchase and the machine is great. Coffee tastes so much better.A few niggles. The jug drips when pouring coffee despite being classed as non-drip.The Water tank level indicator on the side is hard to read. Cannot see the level.There is no mention anywhere of the fact that the machine needs to be plugged in at all times for the clock to work.We reset each morning before making coffee.

Coffee Pot handle has cracked within 3 months.
I bought this to match the kettle and toaster, I was surprised at how flimsy the coffee pot handle was and sure enough it has now cracked. I have only hand washed it and treated it carefully. The timer on the machine is also not now working. The machine looks great and makes decent coffee but it is vastly overpriced for the quality of the parts. Very disappointing.

Love it, I work early and set this for when I come down stairs in the morning. Always makes a great brew.

Looks great, bad design flaw.
Great looking product but filling it up with water, by the jug, is almost impossible, the jug clashes with the lid, therefore you can’t tilt the jug to drain all the water from it.
