ColumbiaMen's Bonehead Short Sleeve Shirt

I'm a big guy, and have many Columbia Shirts, but you never know when you order if the sizes are going to be true. So, I ordered this shirt in a 5x... It could have fit 2 of me... Just a dress... I sent it back... What is weird is I ordered 2 other different Columbia shirts at the same time in 4XL (only size they had) and one perfect and the other was basically skin tight... If you get the right one, Columbia makes great stuff... But sizes are too inconsistent. Thank Goodness Amazon has free returns.

As a bigger guy, it's sometimes hard to find shirts that are comfortable. Shoulders are often too small, or the chest is too narrow. Columbia just seems to get it. I have probably a dozen Columbia shirts, but 4 of them are this model, just in a few colors. Everything about it just works. Pockets are deep, cut is generous, breathes well, wicks pretty good. About the only thing I see over time is the Velcro wears down a bit and as the collar softens from washing, it sometimes doesn't sit perfectly.As long as they keep making this shirt, I'll keep buying them. I wear them nearly all year here in Florida for going out, going shopping, working in the yard, working around the house, etc.Highest recommendation on this one.

We own this same Columbia Bonehead in a XXL and LOVE IT, but this Big and Tall Bonehead has some major design flaws in the cut of the back flaps. Even after I steam it flat it still bunches up on my husband by the end of the day and leaves the white mesh exposed... NOT an attractive look, when wearing the shirt as an office shirt.on the flip side the Front pockets are the only pockets on any of his Columbia fishing shirts that stay flat LOLI hate this material in any of the sizes and cuts... Its thicker but HORRIBLE for wrinkles and I end up having to steam press this type of fabric each time before he wears it.

100% cotton, very well made.I own about 20 of these in various colors. I have about 8 additional colors I'm missing.I wear these most days in Southern Florida.They are cool & comfortable.My first shirt of this model is 4 years old and is very close to brand new looking.I do NOT iron these shirts. They do not look like I slept in them. I do wash them in cold water and dry them on cool until half dry, then hang them uncrowded. Very limited number of light wrinkles.Love love love these shirts, especially on sale.

2XL fits 48-52 inch chest; Nice lightweight shirt for casual wear; You could wear a knit tie with this shirt and a field jacket for Thanksgiving or Christmas if you want to dress for comfort in front of the fire after big meal. I got the short sleeves as with a shirt 2Xl the sleeves are always way to long for me. It has vlecro on the collar tips to keep it down as a button down collar would do. The pockets are nice if you have a smartphone and wired ear buds for listening to music etc. The pockets will facilitate sunglasses and a note pad too if you are and adventure sportsman. I recommend the shirt highly.

I wear 4XLT as I like a loose comfortable fit so that is the size I ordered. When I tried the short on it was way too small and too short. I would say this was on the smaller side of 3X. I also noticed some strings and loose threads so I wonder about quality.

I have several Columbia and other "fishing" shirts. Like the style, but this is least favorite. [I don't fish]Cotton fabric is soft, but very wrinkly; sensitive to bleach.Fit is good [XL-Tall]Dislike velcro fasteners; [prefer snaps, buttons, zippers]Like depth of pockets; suitable for cell phone.Poorly made; after two washings, buttons falling off; no spare buttons.Can't recommend.If Columbia [or anyone] is interested, I can specify my "ideal' shirt.

Shirt fit well and was the color I expected. Lightweight and breathable. Not sure this is what would be ideal for fishing. The pockets are portioned to the shirt but if your hands are large you might not be able to reach all the way down into them for small items. But the purchase was more for style and keeping cool rather than the pocket use in this particular case.
