Fantastic Upgrade from Built-in 2.4GHz Wi-Fi
My Dell Windows 10 Pro desktop computer has a built-in Dell 2.4GHz Wi-Fi adapter. Adding this tiny device, allowed me to use my router's 5GHz communication and instantly quadrupled my upload and download speeds (as per Speedtest.net).There was a bit of problem getting it to work, but a Google search came up with the solution. The driver could not find and connect to my Wi-Fi. The answer was to turn off QoS support in the driver advanced settings. I do not know what QoS support is or what it does, but turning it off for the included Realtek driver allowed the computer to instantly find and connect to the Internet on my router. I now have ~220Mbps upload and download speeds, up from about ~50Mbps.For a small amount of money I got a great improvement; big bang for the bucks.

Great purchase in the middle of a move!
So I had to remove all the wiring in my home due to our selling of the home and trying to "declutter" to make the home show more appealing. I had to get rid of my routers and all my cat5 cables so that my office had a cleaner look. Oh man! There goes all my gaming! Not so! With the purchase of this adapter, I was still able to game on my rig, which I usually never do wirelessly because of poor connection, etc, etc. This adapter was surprisingly able to allow me to connect to my games and play without any lag! I am super impressed with the quality of the connection provided by this product at such a low price! I was a skeptic at first, but now I am super happy with the purchase and I am glad it was able to provide me enough juice to make it through my move wirelessly!I have updated with some speed test photos. The second photo shows the speed test in progress as well as my ethernet connection settings so that you can see that my set up is indeed using this wifi adapter during my testing.

Buyer beware
Worked with subpar quality for the first couple days I had it, on the third day the product caused a power surge to my USB ports and now refuses to work, even after checking the USB drivers to make sure they are updated correctly.As for the "high" reviews, from what I have read from other real customers, it appears that the products from this company are plagued with fake reviews to mask their awful quality.

Work's how you'd expect it too
This is a USB wifi adapter, with a 5dBi or 5 decibel Antenna, which is very powerful to get through those thick walls in the house from room to room to allow for greater signal reception for the pc or laptop. It is dual band so it has 5Ghz or 2.4 Ghz. 5Ghz is much faster but it depends if your router is compatible with it. This is a great product as it has an 12 month warranty card, and comes also with a mini cd to install drivers for it. A user guide is also attached. After testing on the pc that we have, it has shown to improve our downloading speeds as well as browsing dramatically, this is more apparent on 5Ghz.The wireless signal is also very good, as we can also receive from several rooms away. This is a must have for anyone suffering from bad signal in their home due to several factors like a bad router, or if the distance from pc to router is too far for the typical wireless card in your pc or laptop to receive a strong enough signal. If you want to get stable and fast internet, just buy this!Highly recommended.

drivers are a nightmare .. READ THIS TO MAKE IT WORK
okay so i spent hours messing with these drivers , the instructions specifically state to install the included drivers , then plug in the adapter. this results in dropping connections, lag , basically can’t use the internet .WHAT YOU ACTUALLY NEED TO DO-unfortunately if you installed any drivers you need to do a fresh install of the entire operating system or else it will never fix. install windows again, fresh install, WITH THE ADAPTER PLUGGED IN during the install. it will automatically detect the adapter and be much more stable if you DO NOT install the included drivers . this is the ONLY thing that got it to work.

fast super fast
Easy upgrade for an older computer or an add on for one that needs wifi. I used this on a fairly new notebook that did not have dual wifi. The speed increased from 40 to 150 . I also tried it on an older hp laptop that had an existing wifi card that I could not upgrade.The wifi speed also increased greatly and I now have the choice of either of the wifi bands that my router sends out.Please get the drivers from the link provided and just install, followed by putting the wifi adapter in the USB 2.0/3.0 slot.

Quick and easy small usb adapter
The USB wifi adapter was being used in replacement of ethernet cable. I installed the setup in both MacBook and desktop and the installation was really easy to follow up. USB 3.0 looks loading faster.The ping and the speed of the internet were faster than before.Pros- Easy to install and use.- Wifi speed is nearly at it's optimum.- Small and doesn't take much space on your computer.Cons- None nowI think for the price to performance ratio, it is one of the best product in the market since it's cheap and affordable yet performs at the top level.

Good for the size and price
Good product which works perfectly with MAC OS .Loaded the drivers from included disk and instantly I was back to internet service, I got the 1200mbps version and it seems to be as fast as the ethernet connector to my router.With this adapter my download and upload speed are for better as I can now take advantage of channel on my wifi.Very recommended to buy.
