Bought these with average expecations, but was pleasantly suprised.
So just some background, I wanted to use these for cycling in conjunction with an outer shell. The outer 'shell' gloves that I am using are assos s7 which on paper are rated to 32-45deg F (roughly). While riding in upper 37-40 temps usually my finger tips would get cold by the end of a 1.5 hour right. By the 2 hour mark my hands were losing some feeling, and by 2.5 totally numb. I wanted to invest into some liners to maybe help 'buy' some more time in the saddle while looking for more miles in the off season. I originally bought the 'subzero' serius liners , and those are very thick (practically gloves on their own) and did not fit in my gloves. These thermax liners are quite thin and work fit perfectly within the assos glove. Most noteably the biggest difference between a seirus liner and a 1$ knit glove from a gas station, is that the Seirus wick sweat away quite well, so despite some wind, your hands aren't being chilled. I used these on a 2hr ride this past weekend with the assos gloves over them , where the average temp was at 32F this weekend and my hands well fine the whole time. It's not like the warmest thing possible, but did not lose feeling , nor did i 'think' about them during the ride. I know everyone has their own personal gauge of cold/hot and stuff, but in my opinion these liners were money well spent!

Great glove liners
I've used these glove liners for years. This past November, I was deer hunting in southern Wisconsin. The second morning, it was 2 degrees above zero and, fortunately, there was no wind. All I needed on my hands were these glove liners. About half the time, my gloved hands were in my coat pocket, and the other half, they were outside exposed to the cold air. At no time were my hands or fingers cold. Be advised, though, that if there is much wind, it will cut through the liners and you will feel in on your hands and fingers. They are NOT designed to serve as your only hand protection in windy conditions. Be advised also that they are rather thin. This is good in that you have full finger dexterity, but the tips of the fingers can rapidly wear out. I usually go through at least one glove liner each year. Thus, I normally buy these in groups of 4 to 6 pair at a time.

Do the job, better for slight chill than real cold
I have four pair of these, and I try to keep a pair in every jacket that I might wear in the winter time. They're reasonably priced, comfortable, and wash well. I find these are best used as light gloves on moderately chilly days (e.g., 35-45F, or a lower to 25 or 30 if it's not windy). They feel good and provide just enough extra warmth to work. If it's very cold, however, you will need real gloves. But as liners: I don't find that these add much. They make the gloves tight and add very little warmth over and above the gloves themselves. Silk liners are just as good for warmth in that situation but have a much better comfort and fit. (But silk liners are not as good for being light-weather glove stand-ins, due to fragility and thinness.) If you want real liner warmth, I'd suggest springing (and they're costly) for one of the ski-type mittens with thumbs and insulation. Cheers!

If they were just a little warmer...
I wasn't overly impressed with this product, but overall, I'm not disappointed. The liner gloves fit exceptionally. See another 3-star review by 'S Farmer'...she's right. These gloves seem to be cut for hands that have long fingers. Being a guy, 6' 3" and 200 pounds, my hands aren't that large but I do have crazy long fingers. So they fit me perfectly (XL size). Fit and finish gets an A+ from me. The Thermax material is not quite as 'stretchy' as Lycra or Spandex, but the fit is reasonably snug. My main issue with these liners: If you hold them up to a bright window or lamp, you can see light through the cloth. Any material THAT thin is NOT going to keep your hands that warm. I work in an unheated warehouse. Temps in the winter can drop to the low 50's/upper 40's. I got these to use inside my leather work gloves. They keep my hands marginally warmer than just the leather gloves alone. So this product does work, but not as warm as I thought they would be. On the upside, these liners seem well made, fit great and are comfortable to wear.

An Excellent Glove Liner
I use these for skiing as a liner with my ski gloves. When it gets really cold (near 0 degrees or below), I use two liners - a silk one under these and stay nicely warm. I would NEVER consider using them without gloves; after all, they are liners and not made to hold up under heavy wear. They are thin and fit snugly. I have very large hands and ordered the X/XL size and the fit is perfect. A word of caution: All liners seem to be at odds with velcro and ski clothing tends to have lots of velcro. The goves stick to it and getting them lose from it may evertually make holes. Be VERY careful around velcro whith these and any glove liners (my silk ones are also suceptible to this).

Glove Liners That Actually Fit Properly. Five Stars.
Seirus Innovation Men's Deluxe Thermax Liners. 100% POLYESTER THERMAX, CUFF: 100% NYLON. These glove liners are meant to be worn under a larger pair of gloves, and they work better under leather gloves than under knit gloves. If the liners make the gloves too snug, they will cut off the circulation in your fingers and make your fingers colder instead of warmer. These liners are thin enough to fit under your normal size gloves. The fingers are normal size in length, so if you have long fingers you might want to buy a size larger than normal. Unfortunately, XL is the largest size made by Seirus in this liner model, so if you wear a size XX, you may want to go to a silk glove. For some reason, these glove liners do not have care instructions on glove tags, only this note on the packaging: "Machine wash cold and dry on low". Finding the right glove size in any style or brand of gloves can be difficult, especially in cases where finger dexterity is important. In the winter, you may have to sacrifice some warmth and water resistance in order to maintain finger dexterity. Wool glove liners are much bulkier and would require buying gloves one size larger than your normal size. SEIRUS INNOVATION 2110 LG/XL Deluxe Thermax Glove Liner, BLACK. MADE IN TAIWAN. See also on Amazon: SSG, style 5700 silk liners in XL size, they have long fingers and are oversized, so they could be considered size XX. See also my reviews of: WELLS LAMONT WORK GLOVES 546XL. Perfect Light Glove or Glover Liner
I purchased these to use for a light glove and not a glove liner as intended. I deliver mail for a living and have been looking for a thin glove to use for many years now. Although these are not exactley what I would like for a light glove, I am still giving them a five star rating because they are really a liner. I use them alone and they do a good job of keeping my hands warm when the weather is over 25 degrees f. They are very comfotable and thin, which enables me to sort through my mail with ease while wearing them. I am going to continue searching for a pair this thin but would be warmer as the weather here in Northern Michigan can get much much colder. In the meantime I would reccomend this product to anyone and the seller was excellent too.

Great Liner-Gloves for Cold Weather Riding
These liners are quite good for keeping your fingers dry (from sweat) and add additional warmth (air-layer) when used with heavier leather gloves. I had been using Under Armor Cold Gear liners, but after one season, they were starting to fall apart. These were a much cheaper alternative, and function just as well as the UA liners, but without the "snag" of the rubberized palm/fingers to pull the interior of my heavier riding gauntlets. The finger stitching is quite good, and only one finger seems to have excess material that pushes against my finger (slight annoyance), but nothing I can't live with. As they are a "thermal-layer" liner, they do not block wind when worn alone. They are a liner-glove, and should be worn inside heavier gloves as a moisture-wicking, thermal-layer... My hands sweat when I get cold, and these liners keep my hands dry (and therefore warmer) by moving the moisture away from my skin. UPDATE 12/29/13: Yesterday's riding weather went from 55-deg and partly-cloudy to the low-40's, heavy cloud-cover, high wind-gusts, and damp... downright miserable... My finger-tips were getting quite cold, when I remembered these glove liners in my pillion pack! Even though they were cold when I put them on, my hands/fingers quickly warmed up inside my heavier gauntlets. The rest of the trip home (about an hour) my fingers did not get cold!
