Hahnel CAPTUR Remote Camera/Flash Trigger Captur Pro Module, Black (HL -CAPTUR Pro)

I am using this unit in all its modes detecting light, laser and sound sources. Great performer but a little difficult to understand the miniature user's manual. Better information on YouTube and Internet.

I love this thing! I have been using this with a gun-sighting laser to get some amazing splash photos. I was able to adjust the timing to get the splash at the precise moment I wanted.

Does the job well. Do wish it didn't feel so plastic...but great product and easy to use.

It works very well for me but it has a major weak point. I've had 2 break in the same way - the 2.5mm port where you connect the camera broke off of the circuit board of the detector making it useless. If they would make that connection more sturdy, I'd give it 5 stars.

It was fairly easy to set up and I was exited about the functionality it displayed right out of the box but the 2.5mm port, that connects to the camera, cracked off the circuit board solder points during first use.Perhaps the 3.5 mm-2.5 mm adapter added more leverage but it wasn't like there was rough treatment.After missing the shot that I bought this for I'm debating weather or not to send it back or solder on a 3.5 mm connection that it should have been made with in the first place and (epoxy it in place).

Just received this and on the very first page of the manual it says that to use it wirelessly you need to buy an extra module, and if you want to attach to your camera you need to buy a cable separately. Why would you sell something that arrives unusable?

I liked the possibilites this opens up for remote camera operation for nature/time lapse/freezing motion. It is well made and thought out for various situations. You must bear in mind that the Hahnel Captur is required for firing the camera and extra receivers for each flash and for pairing all your devices, although many camera flash guns are now wireless capable but flash TTL is not possible and requires your flash to be set to manual. The timer which is supplied with the Pro is (I think) fairly complicated and the instruction book somewhat confusing. However, the whole system is well covered on You Tube and lets face it with digital photography experimenting doesn't cost anything. I had never considered Hahnel products before but I found they supply a reasonably priced range of products that are well made.

Die von Hähnel haben genau ins schwarze getroffen. Einwandfreie Funktion, einfache Bedienung und eine anständige Bedienungsanleitung. Wenn noch eine entsprechender Laser dabei wäre, würde ich das Teil ins Olymp erheben. Die fehlende TTL-Messung lässt sich einfach über Verwendung eines Kabel zum Master kompensieren.
