Very Thin
Be warned, this batting is extremely thin. If handled carefully, it’s no problem. It’s also not very smooth. However, the size is huge. Did a king sized quilt and had about 8 inches left all around it. It hand quilted beautifully and made a very heavy quilt. Love it.

Fabulous batting price and quality
Do not let the price fool you... I have made hundreds of quilts and my last 20 were made with this wonderful batting It is so large 108x90, it will do 1 large quilt or 2 small ones. Completely machine or hand quilting it is very reliable in the washer and dryer. I am sold 100%

Easy to work with.
I purchased two of these to make quilts for my grandkids. I've used cotton batting for wall hangings but this was my first time using it for full size quilts. In the past I used high loft polyester batting but it doesn't hold up. After a while it turns into fat clumps. I know that cotton batting is thin but warm, so I was not disappointed with this batting. It did have a slight smell and wrinkles. I knew I couldn't wash it so instead I tossed it in my dryer on "steam refresh" with a fabric softener sheet. It worked great! No odor or tight wrinkles. One side of the batting was fuzzier than I expected and it had a tendency to cling to everything but not a big deal. The quilts turned out great and warm enough for a South Dakota winter. I plan on using the scraps for microwave bowl cozies

Plastic, thin horrible batting.
Plastic! Thin, horrible quality batting. I went to iron this batting like true cotton batting can be ironed and it melted! It almost ruined my professional iron which is my right hand in my business. I cannot believe there are not more complaints on this product. Should be pulled! I put a scrap piece of my regular batting next to it for comparison which takes the heat of my iron on a cotton setting.

A bit thin but I am use to polyester. Will work great for summer quilt . There is a bit of a smell hope it will disappear when I hang it in the fresh air will let you know
