It is very conpact when it is in the pouch, yet it becomes big enough to carry grocery. The pouch is attached to inside of the bag when it is used as a bag, which is a great idea because you don't lose it.When the bag is folded, it has to be folded nicely in order to keep it in the pouch.It's light but durable enough to carry grocery. I bought this for my grocery, but the bag is more useful than just grocery because of the look and the color, so I have used it when I go shopping and put clothes I purshased. It was much easier than a paper bag because it was on my shoulder and my both hands were free to shop more. A great bag!

I have used it a few time already and I like it. I put in heavy items like milk, can goods, etc. and it was able to resist the weight. The material feels strong and it's big plus its convenient. The only minor thing is when its filled to capacity its hard to carry over your shoulder.Edit: I initially gave it 4 stars because of the stitching, but now It's been a year (Nov.2017) and it's still holding strong. So I'm switching it to 5

Buy a better carry bag. I found out after buying EcoJeannie that this bag has ZERO magic and certainly no Jeannie! Please look elsewhere.

I have had this bag for less than a week and the rating would have been five stars, but today I was carrying a small amount of groceries into the house and I heard and felt something rip. I'm giving it three stars (instead of one or two) because the design of the bag is such that even though a seam went out on me already it is not one that is integral to the bag's structural integrity, and I should also be able to sew it up fairly easily. I like the bag overall, and the fabric quality is nice and strong, but the seams along the handle are a mess.

The bag surpassed my expectations. It is very light and fits 1.5-2 bags of groceries. I bought it for subway backpack trips into the city, so it needed to be light. All the seams are over over and covered with fabric, so you are safe here. Unlike other bags it is designed smartly so that the bag stays comfortably on your shoulder (does not slide) and it is right where you want it to be (not too high or low).

I bought this bag 7 months ago and have been using it for groceries. It worked well, until today when I noticed that the 4 inch seem at one of the bottom corners was completely ripped open! Grocery bags with HOLES are not very useful. The manufacturer claims that this bag is indestructible, which is completely false. It also says there are no seems at the bottom, which is wrong.....there are actually 2: one on each bottom short side.

Great foldable strong nylon shopping bag with large enough handles to shoulder carry. I have one or two of these all the time in my handbag. The nearly 6 inch wide gusset is especially good for grocery shopping; the large plastic containers of 1 lb. prewashed salad greens fit perfectly. I would have given this 5 stars if the handles were sewn to be on longer sides of the bag instead of the short sides - when carrying on the shoulder, the bag tends to flop sideways.

This bag is durable, holds a lot & the storage bag is sewn into side seam so no loosing the storage bag. The hook & loop tape at top stuck to a sweater a small amount - I hadn't put the 2 pieces together. Not enough to loose a single star. I'm pleased w it's strength & long lasting material. Only non-cotton bag I own. Great to keep in my handbag for unplanned purchases. Like the color!

It's a big bag and holds a lot. Great for most things that's I'm picking up at the grocery store. Nice and Lightweight.

Great bag! A good size for carrying lots and the strength to do it! The velcro strip on the handles is a good idea so that the handles stick to each other and prevent items from rolling out when the bag is on the car floor. The handles stay on the shoulder and don't slide off like some do. It's very compact when folded into the carry pocket, and fits easily into the pocket.

Arrived quickly and in good condition. As described - strong bag, fairly large but don't put anything sharp in it as the nylon will rip. I prefer this to a cloth bag - nylon won't mould as easily.Will probably buy another one.

I actually like the bag. Just wished the sides were a bit higher. Besides that, it works very well. The built in storage pouch is real handy to keep the whole bag from taking up too much room. A bit big, but you can actually carry the bag in your pocket.

My biggest issue is how awkward the straps are. You can fit a lot of groceries in the bag, but because the straps are placed along the bag’s short side instead of lengthwise, they’re incredibly uncomfortable to wear on one’s shoulder. Not bad if you’re moving the bag from store to car, but awful if you’re expecting to walk anywhere with a fairly full bag, look elsewhere! The velcro strip may have been good in theory, but just adds to the scratchy awkwardness of carrying the bag on the arm or shoulder. I like how the bag folds into the attached pocket, but that’s the only thing I like about this shopping bag.
