Disappointing
Good quality leather, but sh**** finish work. Two rivets for the lace hooks came out, one on each boot, when trying them on. So disappointed. I can’t stand crap. Especially expensive crap.Update**** 1/18/19Great customer service. My first pair, as you read, had some quality issues. The owner reached out within a day and offered a free pair of boots, and a refund. Boots arrived today and they are great. Only one criticism, the pull tab could be more rugged. Thanks to the owner!

New York City NY - Manhattan both Pair arrived today. slipped them on, absolutely a fine Fit.Looks good, feels good. Walked down to 35th St. Shoe Shop for a Shine. The Owner and Shoe Shine Menexpressed a great interest and acknowledged the Boots were made very well and looked good.Walking back, acquired many eyes looking at my feet. Will be buying more. I had to update this review after 2 months of daily wear due to failure. ** So while the initial pair experienced failure at the lace hooks they reached out immediately to remedy the situation, I was sent a new pair within 5 days to replace them.** No questions asked. Will hopefully get decent run time out of these.I wear a 11 in Nike shoes. 10.5 in most boots. These I wear a size 10 and they fit perfectly. The width is normal I saw some complaints about width if you need a wide in this shoe you likely already know you need a wide.Craftsmanship is beautiful. Saw no flaws in material or craftsmanship. Come with extra laces and insoles as well as bags to store them in. No shoe horn with the boots as I suspect they are unnecessary and less useful.Shoes need a few days to break in afterwards they are quite comfortable. I have a month of daily work wear selling cars . I walk a lot and they are worth it.Updated after 2 months 2 of the eyelets have now popped off of the top of the right shoe.

Sturdy Shoes
I am still in the process of breaking in the shoe, but it's expected because I recently purchased the shoe and I tend to mix what I wear during the week. However, I can tell the shoe is well made and will age well over time. The leather feels thick. Grip of the shoe to ground is a non-issue and it's not a heavy shoe. It will make you taller because of the sole of the shoe. You can wear it with a suit, but I would not because I do not like when the hem of the pants gets stuck within the pull tab at the back of the shoe. It works better with heavier pants like chinos or jeans. Depending on the pants that you wear, the shoe can appear broad so be mindful of that, but the design is beautiful enough to turn heads.
