Would not buy again if you have wood or tile floors
My downstairs has wood floor and this replacement makes a loud banging noise every time it goes across them. It must be sitting slightly lower than the original. With the original part, you would not hear a thing but with this, you hear bang bang bang as it goes across the floor. I might just return it and pay the extra money to get the original.I will see if I can try to fit it on a little better but I can hear it all the way upstairs when it is downstairs. If you have carpets or a smooth floor it may not be a problem..
