Decent pcv value.
After taking apart both a used Fram & Motorcraft (Ford brand) to see how they wear & a careful look at the construction, I would guess that a Fram value would last less long than a Motorcraft one. Nevertheless what is currently in my truck is another Fram. These valves are so easy to change, it literally takes longer to open the hood & close it back down again after I'm done, than it takes to swap out one of these pvc valves. If you are someone who is going to try to get a 100k on one pvc value, then buy a Motorcraft. It probably will not make it to 100k, but it might have a better chance. PVC values should be changed every year or two, has a big effect on how the engine performs & this Fram is well enough built to run for a couple of years without me worrying that it will fail. If the Motorcraft values cost the same, I'd buy those, but at a third the cost, they are going to work as well as a Motorcraft for the couple of years it will be in my truck.
