BEST WAX EVER
BEST WAX EVER!!!!!!! It does work if you're smart enough to wax. Go with the grain while applying, against the grain quickly when removing. Pull straight back while holding shik around it tight. Yes it's sticky but duh it's wax, baby oil takes it right off you or anything you get it on. I started out saying no way never again but I taught myself. Now I don't own a razor, I'm super soft longer, no razor burn, I do all my friends, and my hair grows back thinner. This is a must!

Cautions and a basic idea of how to wax.
***Waxing requires experience and good technique or you can injure someone. It is not for everyone. If you have doubts please visit a professional rather than do something that may damage your body!!! Messing up can cause burns, bruises, ripped skin, and ingrown hairs among other things.*** Still considering it? Watch videos of professional wax techs (not Hollywood portrayals, every one I have ever seen was wrong). Gigi has some nearly hairless models on their website but they teach good techniques. If you still want to go ahead, please buy the right stuff. You will need a Gigi pot with Off/Low/Med/High settings in addition to the wax. Make sure you have plenty of applicator sticks and removal strips. Have corn starch powder and baby oil handy too. Hair should be 1/4-1/2 inch or so. Longer hair may cause pulling issues so trim it down! The wax needs to preheat on high at least 30 minutes to an hour before you start. Cover anything you don't want to spill wax on (I put newspaper on the floor and under the pot) because it can be hard to clean up. Dust the area of your body you want to wax with the powder before waxing. Test the wax on your wrist before applying! It should be thin (somewhere between paint and honey) but stick to the applicator and spread on easily and thinly (think paper thin... the thinner the better). Apply in small sections in the direction of hair growth and immediately apply a removal strip, rubbing firmly in the direction of growth. Grab the bottom of the strip and pull quickly in the direction opposite the growth and application. Most of the hair should come off. If the wax is too cold, too thick, or sits on your skin too long it will not work as well. If it hurts, try a smaller section next time (but be real... you are ripping hair out by the root, it is going to be uncomfortable). A little wax residue may linger on your skin. When you are done with that section of your body, take a clean strip and rub it on the residue and quickly pull it off. Most of it will come off and the rest can be massaged off with baby oil. After you are done and cleaned up, remember that your skin may be sensitive for a while so stay out of the sun. Your pores may be open for a while so take proper precautions. Remember to exfoliate the area often (to prevent ingrown hairs) and moisturize daily!

Remember; less really is more!
So first strip was a hot mess. Gooey bubblegum nasty and I got worried... Remembering, thin scraped off layer is your friend. And voila! Perfect. Perfect nearly every time from then on out. More leftovers than I have with hard wax but easily cleaned up with oil. I have crazy sensitive skin...so much that I choose to wax vs shave because if I'm gonna get a rash it might as well be less often. NO RASH!!!

⚠️ WARNING ALERT - DO NOT USE ⚠️
⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ Product: GiGi Crème Wax for Hair Removal, Soft Wax for Sensitive Skin, Face & Body, Gentle Formula, 14 oz, 1 Pack First, this is not my first rodeo with soft wax. At home, I usually apply hard wax, but every time I go to a spa, they use soft wax because it’s faster for covering large areas like the legs. That being said, I want to tell you that maybe what you read in this review can be disturbing for you, so please read carefully. Yesterday I tried this GiGi Crème Wax for Hair Removal, Soft Wax for Sensitive Skin for the first time. As always, I read the instructions completely from the packaging and prepared the warmer by placing the new container and letting it heat up, then leaving it on low during use. I did a patch test to check the temperature, and it was ready to use. I started applying patch by patch on my leg and then using the strips, area by area, to remove the hair. The first thing I noticed was that the wax looked like cream. It seemed harmless, and since it was advertised for sensitive skin, I felt overconfident. But let me be clear: this is NOT a gentle formula, and it is definitely NOT for sensitive skin. I began applying it area by area, pressing the strip and removing the wax. In some areas, I noticed it didn’t come off with the first strip, so I placed another strip and repeated the process. I also noticed it wasn’t removing all the hairs well, and it left behind more wax residue than I had ever experienced before with other waxes. Up to this point, everything still seemed somewhat normal, apart from the normal pain during the removal of the strip. After finishing, I showered, and although I felt discomfort in my legs and bikini line, nothing raised a real alarm yet. It was around 4 PM when I finished, and by 7 PM, the pain was only getting worse. Still, I thought it was just irritation, but the redness and some peeling started showing. I went to bed around 11 PM, and that’s when I realized something was really wrong. I could not even rest my legs on the mattress because of the horrible pain and discomfort. I had to take ibuprofen and finally managed to sleep around 1 AM. This morning, when I woke up, that’s when I saw the terrible reaction this GiGi Crème Wax had caused. My legs were red and irritated, with purple patches and peeling skin, and the pain continued. For obvious reasons, I cannot post pictures of the bikini line area, but I can tell you the right side where I tried is bruised, irritated, and red. How is it possible that they market this product for sensitive skin? Are you serious? This is NOT a gentle formula, and it is NOT for sensitive skin. This product literally stripped off layers and layers of my skin, reaching the dermis and causing me this much pain. Not only do I NOT recommend this product, but I also warn users: if you really have sensitive skin, this is NOT for you. In my case, I do have very sensitive skin, and this WAX being misled as for the “for sensitive skin” claim, I bought it. Now I must schedule a dermatologist appointment to see what kind of creams they will prescribe to help me recover the skin I lost, plus the damage this might cause. I can already see the waves and texture changes in the skin on my legs. I am terrified to see the peeling skin and the damaged layers. In one area, it looks like the skin was eaten away. I am worried. This crème wax caused me a terrible skin reaction, pain, and overall discomfort. This is NOT a gentle formula and NOT for sensitive skin. I do not recommend it, and you should NOT use it. Believe me, you want to save yourself from this terrible experience with this product.

I can't shave again for AT LEAST a week because it is so painful. Obviously
I am relatively new to at-home waxing, and waxing in general. I have thick, coarse, black leg hair and every time I shave (no matter what I do - and I've tried all different products, razors, and techniques), I get a rash up the front of my legs and have stubble within a day (or the first time I get goose bumps). My hair also grows very quickly. If I shave once, I can't shave again for AT LEAST a week because it is so painful. Obviously, waxing is not fun. It also doesn't feel good (I always think of in 40 Year Old Virgin when he's getting waxed... KELLY CLARKSON!). However, it IS effective. I prefer the Creme Wax over the honey wax on my sensitive legs. It is a gooey sticky mess, but I like it and I have purchased it 4 times now.

Home Facial Waxing
Ever since I started to get waxed many years ago, I had decided to save money by waxing myself. This particular product has been the best I have ever used.

Best wax ever
I’ve tried Gigi’s hard wax and then this pink Creme wax. And oh my gosh, this Creme wax is the absolute best. It is so easy to apply, virtually painless, and picks up the hairs so well. I used Gigi’s epilating strips with this Creme wax, which you can also purchase on Amazon. I’ve never left an Amazon review until now, but I had to since this is the best wax. Gets out all hairs, so easy to apply, and virtually painless. I tried on my legs, bikini area, and underarms. This wax is AMAZING.

did not work for me at all. Prefer hard wax way better
I was using hard wax for many years, and I never had any problems. I don’t have sensitive skin. CONS: For some reason this wax did not work for me at all. I used it with Gigi muslin stripes. The wax don’t harden at all, painful stripe removal, left a lot of wax leftovers on the skin and my legs are red and irritated 24 hours after. Cannot even imagine using it on bikini or underarm (no problem with hard wax). PROS: picking all hair well, no need to reapply. Nice smell, melts fast.

this wax its such good value for money the box is big and has loads of wax in-i think it will last me a while I use it for my legs and arms and works brilliantly. I used to use a veet like roll on and it was good but i am always in a pickle when i am looking for 50 ml roll on replacements as they are VERY hard to find (and i am not talking about the veet ones, as i wouldnt spend that ridiculous amount of money on those). They were cheaper versions to work just as well but cant seem to find ny anymore). However i thought I would try this wax as I have a small machine that keeps the wax warm whilst I wax. very glad I bought this as I think its better economy on the long run! i use strips with this as I used to with the roll on wax..
