I use it for working with collectibles on a library table. It illuminates about 10 sq ft of tabletop. Full adjustment capabilities for brightness & height. Big light for a lightweight lamp. The illuminated magnifier top comes in handy too. I seldom give a 5 stars. I've had this now for a few months and would give it 6 if I could.

The media could not be loaded.  We love this magnifying lamp. The size & design is exactly what we need. We can anchor it to the table or chairs & very easy to maneuver. Perfect lighting for every task, we used it a lot for reading & for small electronic works. Great quality & worth the money. We are satisfied buyer.

The lamp works fine. However, the USB power supply sent with it did not. It has enough juice to light the blue power light, but not enough to power the lamp. I used one of my 2.1a cell phone chargers and it works fine. I wrote to the company ([email protected]) about this and received no response.UPDATE: They did finally get back to me and sent another power supply that worked.

One of the lights quit working after 6 weeks, but Alisr replaced the defective one. I really love these lights for their maneuverability and brightness. I have three of them. I use them for painting (ornaments and wood) and for stitching. They are great.

It was great for what it was, a bit limited as far as range goes it's a tad smaller than expected. Unfortunately 30 days to the day after the return period expired it quit. Just. Quit. Working. No power, no nada. It's also USB powered, I tried a number of different adapters but it doesn't work with any of em.

After several attempts to find a magnifying light that addresses all my needs, the Alisr LED magnifying lamp is exactly what I was looking for. A huge key feature of this product for me is the tightening screw that gives the lamp head extra stability. This was such a problem with other lamps I've purchased in the past. The adjustable levels of light is a cool feature as well. This lamp really delivers and manages to let me do my work without always stopping to make adjustments. Strongly recommended and well worth the inexpensive price.

Hallelujah, the bulky old florescent magnifier lamp on swing arm has been replaced. The bright white of the LED helps me see the watches I am refinishing better. The lamp head is smaller because of LED lights making the whole thing smaller, lighter and easy to use. It is dimable and has different colors of lights that you might want to use for reading and other things. I like the 2.5x to 3.0x glass magnification.

Overall this is not a bad item but it doesn't provide strong magnification for very fine work. The build quality position holding and the ability to change the "temperature" of the light are all very good. It's good for working on small parts and boards but not for very small items. Good enough for larger surface mount component soldering.
