used these for to replace the old cam style straps on a bass tracker. they seem to be made well, came with bolts and I had em installed in 15 min. easy to operate, nice upgrade

i'd give this product five stars because it really is that good and I am absolutely loving them. The downside is that you're gonna have to make a trip to the hardware store because the bolt length that they include in this package is kind of a joke. I don't know what isn't going to have a tubular design on a trailer frame but these bolts will never fit. Here Is the bolt size that worked for me. M12-1.75MM x 75mm in length. The locking nut and washer fit perfect on the new bolts and that is what you will need to get these on the vast majority of trailers! Great product overall!

I bought these for my boat trailer. I decided to mount mine on the sides, as my boat overhangs the back of the trailer a lot. I just had to rig up some hooks to go over the gunnel of my aluminum boat and fasten them to the hooks of the retractable straps. I paid a little more for these, because I wanted the Reese name and reputation, but I also wanted the stainless steel over the regular steel. They're very easy to operate, just push a button and pull, then pull the lever to tighten. Same push button for removal and automatic retracting.
