Hello, does this come with the installation kit? and the remote handheld thermostadt? Also is it pre-charged?

Not only does vacuum have to be pulled but it needs to hold that negative pressure for 8-12 hours. I have installed 5 of these units, I purchased a vacuum pump and all gauges. I had a local hvac guy help on the first one and I had learned more (online research) than he knew about these units. First off the local guys do not want to install these especially if they did not sell it to you. When they are installed properly they are really amazing and cost very little to use.

Intalled the 12,000 BTW (120vac) unit myself.  Eazy Peazy -  Installed an outdoor 120vac outlet,  used a 10guage 120vac cord on the outdoor unit.  Rented a vaccum pump for pennies.  Installation was flawless.    I'll be installing more of these soon.   Don't let anyone tell you this can't be DIY.   Plenty of installation videos for Mini Split HVAC systems on Utube University - Watched a couple,  and it made the actual install much faster with no problems.

Can I connect a thermostat to this unit instead of the remote?

So if you lose the remote you can still adjust the unit. Somepeople like the thermostat on the wall.

What are the temperature ranges this can be set on?

To add to the above, there is 'engineering mode' which can be accessed to change some settings.  Using that mode it is possible to use temperature compensation to move this range up or down to apx 11F in either direction (this mode is in C regardless of how your unit displays and will range from -6 C to 6 C which is about -11F to 11F )  in either direction for a work around if you need to set it above or below its limits.    Though this is only a work around as now the temp you set will be need to shifted by that amount.  This is useful if you like to set the temp below the 62F limit but the freeze protect mode is too low.  By using, as by setting Temp Compensation to -6, setting the thermostat to 62F will act 11 F (6 C) cooler so 51F.
