Don't buy Fram, buy this.
Packaging wasn't in the best shape when I got it, but it was cheaper than purchasing from my local Subaru dealers or through their official parts website. Much better quality than Fram with a metal frame, tighter gasket fit, and the filter doesn't have ribs of glue across it.

Worth the price
Looked the exact same as the one I took out. Easy to install. Cheaper than what the oil change place wanted by $15. Will buy again on the next change out.

Perfect fit for my wife's 2002 Subaru Forester
Perfect fit for my wife's 2002 Subaru Forester. She'd been plagued by a constantly on check engine light that our old tyme mechanic couldn't figure out. Putting in this filter fixed the problem. So, change those Subaru filters (hers was a solid mass of black gook) after 90,000 miles folks and save some money on repairs and get your motor running right.
