It was fast shipping, fit was exact, easily installed, I also added a battery with this DC Jack. I never taken this laptop apart so I took my time with it and still did it all in about an hour great product and would highly recommend it for anyone who needs there's replaced watch a YouTube video on how to replace the DV Jack surprisingly not that hard to do. With very little experience I replaced it. So if you need to replace your's, just go for it or bring it to the shop and spend a lot more than the money you would pay for this project. I seen a ad where you send your laptop to him and he will replace it for you and charge you a $100.00

If you are handy with tools this is an easy install. I suggest taking a picture before removing screws on the MB because the cord routes under the hinge & motherboard.It worked as expected, but unfortunately did not fix the unrecognized AC adapter. I used a new Dell OEM AC adapter & still had the same issue. I have determined it is a charging circuit issue.I draw the line at replacing a MB for a laptop. I'm buying a Thinkpad...

I really like how inexpensive this part is and I am grateful for YouTube videos that helped me install it. I can't believe I had to completely take apart my laptop to replace this part, but I did and it works great.
