Aftermarket Replacement Windscreen for Crown CM311 2pack

Good alternative for the original pricier unit that Crown makes for the CM-311. Stays on well and keeps the wind and spit out of the mic.

Perhaps it is obvious, but be aware, that this is NOT a copy of the original Crown windscreen made with the plastic ring which fits over the mic element. This is pretty much just a foam sock which you place over the mic element for the same purpose.That said, it does seem to fit reasonably well, and should get the job done. For the price they are charging though, you should get more than just two. I mean we're talking about something for which you can manufacture several dozen for probably 25 cents. But hey, this is America and I was willing to pay the price, so I'm not going to fault them for that. After all, no one forced me to pay up and buy them.

This is just a foam cover that is not exactly the right size for the Crown CM-311, but you can get it to fit on, the problem is it falls off easily. The actual Crown part has a plastic ring around the bottom. I just needed something right away for one show, so I got what I paid for. No complaints.

They're very tight going on, but if you're careful, they'll work fine.
