These hold up well over long term use. I use three of these as a block and tackle setup to lift +2,000lb logs for my lumber business on a weekly basis, almost on a daily basis. Those 3 lasted for about a year. I leave them out exposed to the elements and they are fine. I would highly recommend adding a small amout of grease to them before use. It's quick and simple and helps keep down the noise and extends the life. I use a Zeak 5500lb winch with these and they hold up well under high tension, so much that my F150 will slide backwards while in park.

I use this snatch block to change direction winching my car into an enclosed trailer with the winch mounted along the side wall. I bought a Champion wind and this snatch block. The snatch block works fine, only thing that could be better is if it had a grease fitting. Before using it disassemble it and grease the pin if not it will squeak and wear.

Was larger than I expected but I needed a snatch block cuz I have a jeep and I imagine I will one day need it along with my other recovery tools. Maybe I won't, idk, but all my jeep friends have one in case they need blocks to snatch one day. Jeep girls seem to be impressed by the size of my snatch block. I think knowing how to use is more important, actually. I have watched many videos so I will be proficient when the time comes. Very durable looking and feeling . About 8 lbs. I believe experienced snatch blockers will like. I will update how well it performs when the time comes. I have no reason to think it won't perform well. Great price as well.

Many of the negative reviews start off letting you know it's made in china, which it clearly states on the snatch.The day after I got this, I took my Outlander quad out and got it stuck in 2 feet of snow...again.I hooked this to a tree strap and winched myself out 3 times that day (no, some never learn, but it was fun).While this isn't a great amount of strain on the device, I have every confidence it will haul quad and me up/down/through any place I can get a strap around.I highly recommend this for your ATV/UTV's.I don't know if this will work with a jeep to get you through the Little Sluice, but it pulled me and the quad up 30ft of hill in snow (yes, i slid off the trail/road, no i wasn't air'ed down...yet). I was sure the cable would give before the snatch. Not the least bit of trouble.Unlike other reviews, i didn't notice the wire cable slipping out or off the wheel.Product is 3"x6" and fits in a small bag.This cost me less than $10 and I am getting a second. When I do I'll post a picture from the treetop I hoist it up in.

Quite frankly if you are literally winching anything at all and especially cars or your own car do yourself a favor and get one of these! And even if you think you have the baddest winch in town that can pull a freight train trust me use this. It not only puts so much less strain on your winch but moves things so effortlessly. No joke just to really test this out I decided to try and drag a 4 door f150 up a trailer with a super super tiny only 2000lb winch mainly meant for quads and without the block it simply snapped the line within 5 secs. New line installed plus snatch block and even to my amazement it slowly but surely pulled the truck right up the trailer. Now I obviously wouldn’t recommend this but really shows you how big of a difference these make. Buy one!!
