Monster High Scarily Ever After Doll Little Dead Riding Wolf (Clawdeen Wolf)

A few weeks ago I made the comment to my daughter that Abbey Bominable seems to get all the most beautiful outfits. Seriously- every single Abbey that comes out is gorgeous and it's becoming apparent that a lot of the other dolls aren't getting much attention. I'm not seeing very many Cleo dolls any more, or Lagoona, Robecca, Operetta, Ghoulia or Clawdeen. Clawdeen has always been one of my daughter's favorites, and while I think she's a cool character, I haven't been wowed by the different ones that have been released.Up until this one.For her birthday, my daughter only wanted two Monster High dolls: the new Festival Abbey (see?) and Little Dead Riding Wolf. We missed out on her when she first came out last year, and yet it seems a second wave of Scarily Ever After dolls has hit stores over the last couple of months. As soon as I saw that she was available, I ordered Clawdeen, and when I opened the shipping box, I couldn't believe how beautiful she was. She looked so plain in pictures! Of the three Scarily Ever After girls, Little Dead Riding Wolf is definitely the winner in my book. The bold red on her dress and cape make her a standout, and they did excellent on her hair too. If you haven't seen this Clawdeen in person yet and were on the fence about getting her, rest assured that stock images don't do her justice.Little Dead Riding Hood is on your standard Monster High doll body. Articulation at the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, upper legs, knees and boots/feet. Her boots are attached to the leg, so you can't remove them from her feet. Clawdeen has a beautiful look with her makeup, featuring a couple shades of purple, glitter and red lipstick. Simply put, this is a pretty basic yet gorgeous Clawdeen that could pull off some other outfits very well. Her dress here is nothing short of striking. The red hood has a velvety feel to it, with a a nice spot pattern on the inside of the cape. There's a small clasp at the neck that secures simply and holds together like it should. My daughter hasn't said anything about it not staying closed, and I have the doll right here as I'm reviewing it. Just be careful with this piece and it should be ok. It -is- a small plastic clasp and could wear down over time if it's opened and closed repeatedly. LDRH's dress has a corset design on top with black and purple laces going down, and little golden crossbones at the waist. There are even little gold buckles at the bottom of each purple ribbon, all around the dress. This is a very nice touch and I'm surprised they didn't just use two for the front and ignore the rest. The dress can be taken off easily thanks to the usual velcro back. Under the red dress' skit portion is a black tulle, helping it stick out and give it some more shape. I also really dig the purple boots, although she has trouble standing up because of the weight of the dress, and you'll probably have to use the stand if you want to display her. Her only extra accessories for clothing include her earrings and a single purple and black arm warmer.Finally, she's a little light when it comes to accessories, but she still comes with a few things. LDRH has the usual Monster High brush, stand, a story book and a little black coffin purse. The story is great, just like the others in this line, with some nice illustrations. The purse, again, is black and not purple like it is in the stock image above. If you ask me, the black goes with her outfit better.If Clawdeen, an often overlooked doll (as of late) can look this great when given the storybook treatment, I can only imagine how Abbey, Skelita and Venus can be if Scarily Ever After continues. Little Dead Riding Wolf is a keeper. Buy her now before she's discontinued!

This doll is my favorite Clawdeen ( if not of ALL ) so far tbh. She's super pretty and kind of reminds me of Ruby Lucas ( OUAT ) which I'm very glad about since she's my fav character.Well protected, the box was a bit damaged but nothing to complain about.The doll was delivered sooner than expected ( 2 weeks, and I live in France ), precisely 1 day after my birthday. Kinda missed the boat but better late than never :)

I really like this doll, however, she came without a fang ame extremely sticky hair, which was a dissapointment as she was very expensive.

Well, Monster High pretty much speaks for themselves. We (my daughter and I) love Monster High. Lots of detail, trendy fashions and great articulation. I am love anything related to fairytales so this doll was a must have for my own private collection, not the we get to open up and play with collection.

Clawdeen's hood is especially pleasing. The material is stiff enough to hold poses very well, very nice for camera shots. One thing though- the coffin shaped basket she comes with is black, not purple as it appears in the picture. I'm alright with it, though- the black suits her better.

I really love the idea they did behind this version of Clawdeen doing the whole Red Riding Hood story for her. The doll itself was very nice and it cleaned up nicely. With that being said yes I had to clean it up... for some reason the box she came in seemed like it had been opened before and there was dirt spots on the inside of it. They just wiped off so it wasnt a concern to me but if you were getting this to keep her unopened then I would keep that in mind. Plus it had a Target Exclusive sticker on it?

I stared to collect monster high dolls and this doll it very pretty and every thing nice like at the picture, pack come on time and I'm very happy with the price and the doll.

Do not buy from this seller or this used packer. The doll is beautiful but is devalued because of the ugly, torn, used over, damaged boxes they are in. I would be ashamed to send or sell this item to ANYBODY considering it's suppose to be new. It's very degrading on their part. The dolls are not wrapped securely, just thrown into a shipping box and hope that it gets wherever safely. This is very unacceptable!!
