Decorative, not weight bearing quality. Heavy though. Got some adjustable stick-on spacers to stabilize it to the wall so it doesn’t bounce around and it looks great. Comes in multiple pieces screwed together with flat metal braces. Good value, fit great with the TempurPedic split king adjustable and the optional brackets from TempurPedic.

This headboard is a definite keeper! Great quality at a remarkably reasonable price! Just wish I could get another in a solid white.

Glad we took the chance on this cream wood headboard. No chemical smell, like other reviews mentioned. Solid wood and no imperfections. My daughter put it together with zero problems. The trim detail is very nice. Extremely happy with this purchase.

We bought this during a Prime event for $115 dollars. It arrived on time, packaged very well. The assembly instructions were clear. It took about an hour to assemble. There is a green QC label on the back, meaning it passed a quality inspection; however, the employee missed a chip blemish, which is very visible. As mentioned by other buyers, this product off-gasses and smells and it does not include hardware to mount to the bed frame flanges. Strange since they dedicated a page about how to attach it. We ordered 5/8 x 2" bolts with nuts and washers for $10. The unit is very rich looking...The blemish was disappointing. But, we have experience with furniture and can touch it up. If it hadn't been for that, we would have given a 5 star review.

We’re very pleased with the quality of the product. It’s nice & sturdy. My husband said it wasn’t overly difficult to put together. Since the one we purchased was for either a full or queen bed, it didn’t include the screws, bolts & washers needed to attach the headboard to the frame. What was required was included in the instructions. Note: it was in metric. Since our headboard is black we wanted black items. We weren’t able to find them in black so stainless steel it is. No big deal as they aren’t visible.

With all the comments about odors/gassing, I thought I should share my experience. The headboard is very well packaged and the wood parts are totally wrapped in a light styrofoam sheathing that almost acts as a plastic bag- so all the gasses have been concentrated from being locked in for months since its manufacture. When I opened the box I could smell what others have commented on, but it was not as strong as some say. I broke the seal on the styro wrap and let it sit for a few days and the smell did ease quite a bit. Took it out of the box at that point and set it in a well ventilated area for a week. Now, even if you put your nose right on the headboard- there is virtually no odor and in the room it is simply not a factor at all. Glad I gambled on the purchase because this headboard is solidly made and absolutely perfectly finished (black). It is beautiful and at the price, nothing short of amazing. With Amazon's return policy, I figured there was nothing to lose; and as it turned out, the gassing was a "nothing burger."
