Cryotherapy Arctic Ice Cold Water Therapy With Large Back Pad (13" x 24")

Great way to ice my moms hip after her replacement surgery. Nothing works as well as this. We froze bottles water and put three of those in the cooler (fit around the pump and flexible pipes inside the cooler). That way we did not have to dump the melted ice water each time. We just swapped out the three frozen water bottles very few hours of use. The circulation water level stayed the same. This is so much more effective than ice bags or ice packs.

I would like to start by saying that I am a chronic pain patient,that has intractable pain, so I was really hoping to get a good machine when I found this on your site.I purchased this product (The Artic system), about three and one half months ago, and then suddenly, it failed to perform.I called amazon support thinking that this medical unit had to have a decent warranty on it, but it didn't.Premier health just shut me down and closed my request.I think that there should be extended coverage on these therapy machines.Most shoppers would expect a warranty 6 mths to a year at least, and a company that would stand by their product.You guys should notify all of these therapy vendors.Thanks...

I purchased this for my knee replacement surgery. I am extremely sensitive to all narcotics so pain control was a concern. This worked wonderfully!!!I read the review and saw the suggestion to use frozen water bottles, which was exactly what we did. My husband had to work so he would fill it as instructed with ice and water at night and then i just added \changed the water bottles throughout the day and it worked perfectly.I'm 3weeks postop and came through using only Tylenol,Advil and this ice machine. I really like the fact that it has a timer too, one less thing I had to think about. I just set for 20 minutes and took off the big flexible lightweight pad when the timer went off.I would highly recommend this product

This keeps my son happy and pain is greatly lessened following extensive knee surgery.He is able to go much longer without pain killers and use less when he does take them.My advice - buy this before surgery. It will make recovery so much easier.

Have used it with regular pad for 6 months on knee now to be replaced. Works reliably and is quiet and easy to operate. Am facing problem with getting different and larger pad to attach to unit in anticipation of the replacement and can't seem to find the advertised "compatible" pad attachments offered. Hope I was not misled on this point, otherwise a god product doing what I bought it for at a reasonable price. Ted W.

I had a knee replacement on Monday, February 12th and the Item worked for one day then pad started to leak and is unusable. The pump mechanism seems to be working fine. I need immediate refund or an immediate replacement of the large back pad. I need this for my knee as I recover from surgery.

I’m using this machine right now as I am 9 days post op from. Spinal fusion. My doctor did not tell me about this but a friend request send one after her surgery. I wish I had taken it to the hospital. It is way better than the cold packs they give you. I freeze water bottles and change them out when the melt.

Works well but be a little careful with the recirculating pad especially if you have any orthopedic hardware. One of my external fixator pins pierced and ruined the pad. I found a replacement pad on another site for ~$30 and had it within a few days.The reason for my "4" out of "5" -- the reservoir is sort of small and goes through ice fairly fast.
