uxcell Hex Lock Nuts - M5 x 0.8mm Carbon Steel Nylon Insert Self-Locking Nuts for Fasteners, 50Pcs Black

I was in need of some hardware to repair the cutting blade on a Black & Decker hedge trimmer. I believe the OEM hardware is SAE, but I just bought metric which is close enough to the SAE spec. I originally tried a 12 mm bolt but had to use 14 mm to ensure the threads were engaged in the nylon lock nut. I then ground off some threads with an angle grinder. This hardware works great, the only thing I wish is that it would be slightly larger, as I had to use some washers underneath.

An absolute must for assembling steel cabinets as it locks the nuts. Happy to see these medicine-type cabinets coming back into fashion. Can be used for any thin steel assembly. Great to have around. The quality is great & there are a lot of them.

These worked well! I'm late to review these, but that just means I can say that they have been holding fine for a couple of years now. The finish was excellent and the machining certainly precise enough for my purposes.

Been using this brand on hardware for a while, consistent quality. I use it for Rc cars and crawlers and never had an issue. Much better than buying individually at local stores.

The fit the M3 bolts that needed nuts. They were scared and could barely hang on to the 3d printed trailer they were in, but now that they have nuts, they are up to the task. The addition of the nylon insert makes the nuts even better at doing their job.

Not much to say, I wanted black locking nuts and these worked perfectly. Very happy with the look and result.
