Works perfect. Cheap price, great value.
Great aftermarket tool to rotate your Caterpillar motor. I've used it 3 times to pin time my motor. It is good quality and l don't see anything possibility going wrong with it if used properly.

Advertising discrepancies but it does fit what they say it will
The tool seems well made. But the paper in the package says it’s for the 3208 and E7. Nothing about the 3406 like advertised on here. I will see if it works or not next week when I do a head job on a truck. EDIT!! Tool does fit the 3406 and 6nz. Will give it a 5 star rating now

Good product works as it should

sloppy fit
It works but I was a little nervous about chewing up my flywheel. The fit is not 100 percent correct.I would maybe look at another one

worked fine

Only use as a hold and turn slowly the motor. Don't forget that it is there before starting.
This fit my dodge cummins. Helped me change the cp3. Could use harder metal but fits well.

Junk. Not hardened. Avoid.
As my first ever Amazon review I am taking the time to explain how useless this “tool” is. The attached images show this tool after turning my 5.9 one and a half revolutions. That’s right, 1.5. It barely made it through one valve adjustment and doing so required stopping every revolution of the ratchet to un-jam is as the teeth had already deformed enough that it would bind and stop rotating as it was stuck in the flywheel teeth. Description says it’s hardened. Hardly. Using the tool and clearing the burrs off with a file indicates it’s mild steel at best. Instead of buying the this tool get a good one or just throw the $20 in a lake and turn your engine by a crank bolt because at least you will be less frustrated. It would be really nice if the seller would just take it back instead of trying to get other people to buy this junk.
