Looks and Works just like the OEM part
This rewind starter replacement was an exact OEM replacement (from Briggs and Stratton) so it was an identical replacement. Easy to install and works just like when it was brand new. The only thing to be aware of, is if your rewind starter unit comes from the factory pop-riveted in place, this replacement does not come with replacement rivets. But, they were easy to find and the install was pretty straightforward

Did What I needed it to do.
Broke the pull cable on my generator. This was a direct replacement for the pull start assembly on my Briggs and Stratton Model 030430 5500watt generator. This is affixed with pop rivets to the flywheel housing, so keep that in mind when purchasing.

Très mauvais service de Brig’s and Stratton, à qui j’ai écrit deux courriel pour avoir le numéro de pièce de remplacement et qui ne m’a jamais répondu!J’ai choisi la pièce dans le doute avec les mesures et les images fournies dans le site de Amazon, heureusement j’ai pu trouvé la bonne pièce de remplacement.Un gros merci à Amazon mais pas à Brig’s and Stratton!
