Nice in bread, tasty in milk
I use this malt powder in my bread; it helps to make it chewy and adds to a nice brown crust. I also use it to mix up my own malted milk powder, which I add to milk or chocolate or ice cream. I recommend it!

Amazing Product
I love baking bread and my husband loves that I do. I accidentally came upon this product and decided to order it. First I must say that the price was very good but the shipping time was even better.As soon as I received it I used it with an Italian bread recipe that is a favorite. I couldn’t wait for my bread to be cool enough to cut it and when I did slice it the first thing I noticed was the beautiful texture. My husband, son and I had a slice slathered with butter and couldn’t believe what this Dry Malt Powder Diastatic did to improve my bread. I was astounded and cannot wait to bake using it again. I’ll never bake without it.

This stuff is pretty great! Like many people, I became a bread baker when quarantine started. Yeast used to be my nemesis. Now we’re great friends. Anyway I started running into recipes that had this stuff in them. So I decided to purchase some. My loaves started rising higher and browning better. Pretty awesome! I think this particular product contains fillers though. Next time I buy it, I’m going to look for a brand that’s more pure.

I got turned onto this in a Pizza Bible cookbook and it has made a such difference in the taste and texture of my dough recipe. It is a great added ingredient.

You Need This.
So, like everyone else for the past few months, I'm on a quest to bake ALL the things. I've gone through my sourdough phase, my everyday bread phase, and now, I'm onto my specialty baked items. My kitchen is slowly turning into a neighborhood bakery.I bought this after watching a video on how to make your own hoagie rolls. It was inexpensive enough and it was shipped quickly. I started making rolls the next day. I didn't know what to expect, but I don't think I was prepared for my kitchen to smell like a Subway sandwich shop after. And in the grand scheme of things, that's not necessarily a bad thing. If you're in the mood, and if you're ready to step up your baking game, I highly recommend you make room in your pantry for it. You need this.
