These work great for my recycling and trash bins in the kitchen. I keep them snug with large rubber bands I bought for that purpose. There is always plenty of bag at the top to tie off. They hold a lot of weight -- used cat litter, watermelon rinds, heavy stuff. They've never ripped or torn. It's easy to unfold the bag to put it into your trash can.

Compostable garbage bag. What could be better?

More ecologically friendly than standard garbage bags, yet still strong enough to hold garbage and not break through in container; however, breaks down in the landfill instead of standard plastic bags. Time to be part of the solution instead of making the plastic problem worse.

I have tried several compostable bags off of Amazon to try to be my go to bag in the house. This one is by far the best. It is actually water/ leak proof and will not cause a stinky brown puddle in the bottom of your can after you throw an egg yolk in there by accident (speaking from experience...). The only down side, is that they are slightly more brittle than other bags that I have tried. Don't go throwing something pointy directly down, more like gently place it, and you will be good to go. Good bag, inexpensive, and works well in my 13gallon kitchen can.

Best of the best, never a blow out, easy to handle, perfect size.

I love these bags! The only thing I struggle with sometimes is can be difficult to pull a bag off the roll. They are sturdy and hold up well when full of trash.

I’m surprised how sturdy and durable these compost bags are. Much better than my previous bags. I surely will buy them again.

The compost symbol is not on the box nor the bag and sometimes municipalities will not pick it up.The only thing I would suggest is adding that to the bag for Canadian customers specifically Ontario.

There doesn’t appear to be an in between size from 10-12L and onwards to a higher size like this one and this is too large. Bags seem to be ok so dar
