Great part, make sure you understand the risk of the repair.
Make sure you understand how to safely make this repair. Worked great for me. I let it sit unplugged for 3 days before attempting the capacitor discharge, I think that was a smart move but doesn’t guarantee safety. Do the research. This brought my 11 year old kitchen aid back to life that had suddenly stopped working.

Save money repair yourself
When my over range whirlpool microwave stopped heating I YouTube issue and knew what I needed. Searched for part and ordered from Amazon warehouse deals (saved money). Wasn't easy to install as I needed to unplug some wires and move a shroud blocking from removal after removing shell cover ofcourse. Also replaced diode at same time. Other than that, now my microwave works perfectly again! Saved money by repairing myself than buying another microwave or sending to repair shop.
