Good cross-cultural survey of blood brotherhood rites
The authors have a bit of chip on their shoulders. They go out of their way to try and explain why blood brothers are no-homo and that anyone who tries to eroticize the blood brother bond is engaging in wishful thinking at best. However, the authors go through great lengths to de-eroticize such bonds that they actually do them a disservice. They apply the same cultural biases that they rail against to the situations ... just from a different point-of-view. Even if you are not an "androphile", the information appears to be good, eroticized or not.

Maybe it's for you, not for me.
Jack's books don't seem to say much that most men don't already know. Just my opinion. Really good effort though. I applaud him for keeping men's issues in the spotlight.

Unethical
terrible, how can anyone suggest a "ritual" where diseases like AIDS can be spread.
