This is a must have for your red bottom shoes! It is an easy to work with a durable material. I was surprised at how well it works and how easy to use it is. You cannot wear these shoes without this applied. This product also give the shoe some grip so you do not slip on smooth surfaces. Cheap, easy to apply, and durable. I have watched a lot of videos on how to install this product on a vehicle. Most will not tell you what the solution they use or how much to use or when to use. I found the 3M PDF online that tells you how to install and it told me the ratios of solutions and how to use them. For 16oz of water you put in 5-6 drops of baby shampoo in one bottle. In the other bottle for 16oz you put 12oz of water and 4oz of rubbing alcohol. You will need to use the alcohol solution if your vehicle has any curved areas. Using this along with the shampoo solution makes installing so much simpler because it allows the film to stretch in the curved areas and adhere to the paint surface. I have never done this before and was a little frustrated at first because I kept getting air pockets around the bottom of my hood. I have a 2020 Rogue so the hood is curved downwards as well as curved side to side so it was very tricky at first. Once I sprayed the back of the film with the alcohol solution it went on smoothly.

Thus is cool stuff but HARD to apply!

Was not sure what to expect, but it seems to go one well. Had to trim a little more off than planned, but only a little. Been on now for a few months, and it is holding up extremely well. Live in a rainy climate, and has gone through a couple of car washes already, and no sign of pealing off. Will use again.

I have in the past bought the other competitive brands, and have had no trouble with them. The 3M product provides thicker, softer feeling plastic. It’s probably a little easier to work with for installation, especially if using on a concave surface like a door sill.

Easy to install. Used it on several bicycles we ride on gravel a lot. Installed it with the wet technique and it’s bomber!

To properly apply this product to a vehicle you will need to create/apply a slip solution and a tack solution. These two items will ensure a higher success rate of proper application. Look up slip solution on YouTube and there will be video explaining what it is a how to make it.

This paint protection film is tough - tough enough to resist cutting with a razorblade! Adheres well and is crystal clear. I was hoping to use this as an invisible "racer tape" to save graphics on a kart for a while, and it does hold up well. But... it is super stretchy, in a bad way, like food wrap, not in a pliable auto wrap way. Prone to wrinkles and bubbles, with an aggressive tack. Once it's down, it is not repositionable.

Protects my paint the way it should.

This is a good film once you get it right, but it takes significantly longer to install it properly and is a pain compared to more user friendly options out there like xpel. Also the cut made by vivvid wasn't the cleanest. Looked like a home DIY job if anything.
