I have been using Chap Leathers in my Custom SaddleMaking Business for over 46 years. Chaps. Handbags. Linings for larger items. Tack & even saddle bags. Leathers looks to be an excellent supplier of these type Leathers. Good suppliers are hard to find. When you find one like N.A.T. Leathers, you order as much and as often as you can. I really like the look & feel, and how I can get the most out of each side.

The listing said that this was a 12"x12" piece of leather, so I was surprised when I opened the package and it was 3 random scraps of leather. I was going to use this to make an envelope shaped small document holder, but the pieces were too small. It also smelled really awful. Like a musty old basement. I put the leather in a drawer overnight and the drawer still smells, nearly a week later.

The piece of leather shown in the photograph is not it actually the piece of leather that you're buying. When my piece arrived it was a little bit darker than in the photograph. It didn't really bother me I was as it was still a beautiful piece of leather and it suited my needs just fine.

Very nice, not too thick or too thin. color was a bit more orange than I expected, but it worked nicely for my project. Shipped quickly and I'm very pleased.

Its fine for what im going to try to use it for, but my piece did come with a about a 1/4 or 1/2 inch cut in the lower middle and a small hole near the middle of the piece. It doest affect my project because i plan to weather it, but i can see how this would affect othert peoples projects.definite bonus though, my piece measured closer to 15X13 and 12X12

bought it to put in my high end car with leather interior to enhance the leather smellbecause some one said it smells good. it smells strong and like cowboy boots. notthe smell i was going for.

I am buying another piece. I now have more furniture that I intend to make with this piece . Also, the smell is heavenly.

There were more cuts into the leather than I'd expected, making most of the product useless for my project.
