I've used the non-organic galanga powder as a supplement, because the organic was not to be found, until now. I'm glad that I bought it.The difference in taste and flavor is quite evident. The conventional is more mild in taste, as the organic has a much more robust, peppery kick to it, that stays with you for a little while.It's much more fragrant, and as soon as I took my very first portion of it, I could feel the effect is taking place, it's really doing something.Nice product, I do recommend it. and will buy again.

Delicious in Thai food!

I usually dehydrate my own galangal, but couldn’t find any in stock around my area. I looked at a few brands, but I liked this one’s company profile (plus they’re a US company) so figured I would try this brand. I’m glad I did. This is a high quality spice at a great value. I will definitely buy this again. They have a bunch of other great looking products, too, and I can’t wait to try out more of their offerings!

This spice is a good addition to my other traditional Indian spices. The flavor is more sharp than sweet compared to regular ginger.

I realize it's not exactly ginger, it TASTES like super ginger and I love it. Reading of its benefits, I'll sprinkle it on my cereal, in my coffee, used it in ginger cookies and they were scrumptious. I love this stuff!!! Will buy again.

I had no idea how delicious galangal was till I decided to make Tom Kha soup. I went overboard using it, and I regret nothing!
