Hard to setup
The first one I was sent was defective right out of the box. The second is working fine. The adapter itself is a bit weird. Hard to get off the camera and I have a hard time getting the lens off the adapter. Once the lens is mounted to the adapter correctly it does work well for the most part. I'm using the adapter mainly with the Sony Zeiss 35mm 2.8 which is a nice compact setup with the Z6.

Good quality product. No complaints so far
The product looks well designed. I like the fact that I have the capability to update the firmware to support lenses that will be released in the future. I have had no issues so far other than the lack of an English user manual. Will update this review after using it for a longer time frame.

Almost there...
The concept is good, but the execution is lacking. It jiggle and never fit correctly between the lens and the body, always giving a sense it might actually fall off, leaving me in a complete mess.

damaged my Z6 (revised)
This device disabled my focus confirmation and viewfinder/monitor auto switch capability. I reset all settings and and rebuilt my custom settings.. It works well usually but sometimes the monitor will not come on when the camera is removed from your face. I changed to the sony 35 2.8 and could not get autofocus confirmation via the beep or green box on any mode. Now no lens gets auto focus confirmation including Nikon. I had to reset the settings and go back through the menu but it seems to be acting up again. Also the adaptor lens release won't work on the camera and it must be removed, placed on a new lens, and returned to the camera.

Worked great at first, but broke within a month
I tested this adapter with all my sony glass on my nikon z6 when it first arrived. All the lenses worked, except for a samyang 35mm. However, when I went to take the z6 out today with a sony 50mm 1.8 mounted, it would not focus, and no aperture information was passed to the camera. Thinking that the firmware might have gone wonky, I tried to update, using the usb base and software provided. When plugged into my win10 pc, the device was "not recognized". I unplugged and re-plugged and the usb socket came loose and dived inside the base. I am awaiting replies/replacement from techart and b&h. Unfortunately b&h is closed for the holidays. I hope the replacement is more durable than this copy was.
