saved a baby bunny
We have a lot of rabbits in our yard and I was worried one would fall into my koi pond and not be able to get out. This morning I found a baby rabbit soaked but safe resting on the escape net. The pond was to steep for him to craw out on his own but the net kept him above water until we scooped him out and placed him on dry land where he hopped away into the brush.

A life saved, and hopefully many more.
Every year I was removing dead frogs and mice from my pool because they couldn’t find a way out. I never thought there was anything I could really do about it. Spent sometime looking around and found this lovey product. Bought it on a whim after scooping a waterlogged chipmunk out of my skinner thinking “ it can’t hurt” and “ it could possibly work”. Took a couple of months but I saw it in action , finally! It works just as described and saved the life of a little frog. I went out to pull the solar cover off and found a frog trying to get out, unsuccessfully, by swimming to every corner of the pool. I think it was getting tired because I was able to herd it toward the critter net where it rested for a few minutes on the floating pad before it gave one giant leap and was on the deck. Very happy with this purchase and recommend it highly .

Made in America by Veterans and no helpless critters in pool!
Thrilled with this purchase. I have had no critters floating around neither alive nor lifeless. There is a floating landing pad (escape pad) in the water encased in black netting for critters to get out and the netting continues up to the anchoring pouch on deck that you can fill with sand in a plastic bag (provided) and placed in pouch portion attached to netting. I used a frog statue to sit atop the pouch instead of filling with sand. Not saying this will save all little insects (ants, beetles, etc.) but may have saved some.. and haven't seen any spiders, dead or alive, either.

So far so good!
Well, so far so good! Before I placed this into my pond, 300 gallon, I was constantly pulling, lizards, frogs and even birds out. For the nm past month I have heard the frogs but have not pulled any creature out! This works and supporting vets is even better, super idea, I love it....

No more critters in the pool!
I often get frogs & toads in my pool because they love the big pond - until the chlorine starts burning them. If they’re lucky I find them in time to save them. Apparently this critter saver is working well because I haven’t seen any critters in the pool since I installed it. Like another reviewer, rather than fill the bag with gravel or sand, I just placed a brick on it to hold it in place. It may not save a larger critter such as a squirrel but I have never had one go in the pool.

Very well made! Thank you
Glad to see these are made by a Vet! Was my choice to pick this over the competition. So far, very nicely built, easy to fill plastic bags and fit is perfect in my pool.So far, no critters in skimmer basket. No idea if they escaped or?? We will see how they hold up to Arizona sun and heat.

Lifesaver for my pool and my cleaning work
I bought two of these after finding baby bunnies deceased in my pool. I have lived in this house for 13 years taking care of this pool and every day, not exaggerating, I would have dead frogs in my skimmers. Since I purchased these, I have not had one dead frog, actually, no frogs in my skimmers. I also have an older Foxx pool and the skimmer openings are very small but coincidentally, the foam on these items fit exactly into the skimmer opening and holds them there so when I clean out my skimmers in the morning, there are no animals, whatsoever in them. I am so happy with them. I don't have an automatic cover in case you were wondering. The pool was built In the 80's.

No dead critters
I can't say for certain that animals climb out of the pool on it as I haven't actually seen it happen, BUT I haven't had a mouse, mole or chipmunk in my skimmer since I put this in 2 months ago. I usually pull at least 1 or two of those critters out per week, so I have to say it's effective. I have had a couple of dead frogs, but they seem to be greatly reduced as well. Maybe their little amphibian brains don't percieve the danger of the water like the mammals do, who knows?Anyway, if you like to use your pool as a mouse trap, this isn't for you.
