Works great for my Harman Kardon Studio 7
I purchased this so I can charge my studio 7 with my phone charger and it works great. Sure I don’t get the audio boost unless I use a quick charge but it drip feeds it. That’s all I need.

A dream come true for me
Finally I have secured a way to charge my Lenova Thinkpad with a power bank. This adapter cord works perfectly, and I have tried so many different ones. I travel alot to an area with no electricity; this is a real lifesaver for me!

Just the right DC power cable dimensions for an old, outdated original Xbox Wi-Fi adapter!
Anyone in the market for a backup/replacement power cord for your MN-740/DGL-3420 original Xbox Wi-Fi adapter power port, this is the DC plug size you'll need - 4.0mmx1.7mm. You can get this in either an AC cord, or if you're like me who would rather have USB power, you can find something like this with a USB type C female end, but there are also type A cables with the 4.0mmx1.7mm DC end to go into this adapter. To the best of my knowledge, there are no details about the DC dimensions on the adapter's user guide book, or on the power cords for them sold on here or Ebay, but I now know just by taking a chance on this cable! The DC end fits in the power port just right and is exactly the same size as the power cord the MN-740/DGL-3420 comes with as seen in the comparison photo! I'm satisfied with my purchase!

20v power from USB C!
I'm using this as a TS100 soldering iron to USB C power delivery adapter. I have a power brick that outputs 20v, and this adapter sends that power to the barrel connector on my TS100. I only wish it was longer, so the weight of the USB connector would not hang from the light weight back of the iron.

Works but YMMV for your application
Was really hoping to use this to get 18-20v from a laptop thunderbolt 4 / USB-C port but only get 5v. With my car charger I can get 9v so it works, but it is not going to work for my use case (powering a headphone amp with 12v-20v). Something you'll have to experiment with unless you know you can get a certain voltage from a port. Regular USB to barrel adapters with a boost converter also don't work for me as well, so I think I'm just going to resort to splicing power straight from the laptop AC adapter.

I use this to troubleshoot.
I use this to troubleshoot a Spypoint solar panel battery pack and a Herd 360 solar panel battery pack. The connections on the solar panels are 4.0 X 1.7 mm female.I can connect this to the 12 V, 6 V, and 9 V outputs and use my USB multimeter to check these outputs.

USB-PD power adapter for 20V appliances
One of the hidden features of USB-PD is that it can produce multiple voltages, from 5V up to 20V. This means high-powered USB-PD power banks can be used to power 20V laptops and mini-PCs with the proper adapter. This is that adapter.I’m using it with an Intel N5095 mini PC, so it can extend the battery life of my power bank during a blackout.
