Busy Monkeys (A Busy Book) Board book – May 3, 2002

Great photos, cute for very young toddlers. My grandson is just under two and loves this. There is not much text so keep in mind if child is preschool age.

My toddler loves this book. We got it for him when he was about six months old. He's now two and he's always loved it and it has grown with him. I gave this book to all my friends with babies and all their kids love it too. I've been told by several people that it's a great book for the car and keeps the kids entertained while driving around. The other 'busy' books are good too, but this one is the best of the series. Be prepared to hear lots of monkey noises when your kids read this book!

My 21month old loves the busy book series. The busy piggies is where we got started and somthing about seeing real pictures just drove him to giggles. It was a library book he did not want to return. Sadly the bookstores here only had a busy bunnies book. He didnt giggle quite as much but he still enjoyed it. Now we have expanded to busy monkeys and this on had him giggling madly on my lap. I dont know what it is about these books, but toddlers love em!

My 21 month old granddaughter adores monkeys and primates of all kinds and knows the difference between chimpanzees, gorillas, capuchin monkeys and so forth. This sturdy board book has pictures of lots of busy monkeys and she loved it from the moment she first saw it. She asks for it by name "busy monkeys". Highly recommended.

Quick read, not much to it, but being a board book means it is less likely to be destroyed by the toddler as we read it.

This was one of the first books that kept my baby really engaged, much because it lends itself to hilarious sound effects. Mommy hoots and slurps and chomps & baby LOVES it and "reads" along matching the sounds to the pictures. I've given it as gifts many times.

My daughter loves all the "Busy" animal books! The monkeys one is Oo Oo Ahhmazing! ;) There are so many different and colorful monkeys making this a fun and delightful read!

Gave this book to my 13 month grand baby my son says the first night she insisted it be read 3 times and after she went to bed made monkey noises so they finally put it in the bed!!! Thanks!!!!

Lovely photo pictures and easy to read text. This being a board book has stood up to going home each week with a different child from Nursery along with our toy monkey - perfect!
