Love the idea, but the packaging could use tweaks
I love the idea of this company's kits and have since first hearing about it on Kickstarter. I love tinkering with things, and when I was hunting for a balance bike for my three year old, I finally broke down and got the kit available on Amazon. I enjoyed building first the Skitter [two wheeled scooter] and then the balance bike. My daughter has ridden the balance bike up to the playground at the top of our street a few times, with only minor tightening needed. I look forward to when we can afford getting one of the larger kits that will allow us to add pedals and make more complicated rides. The parts feel really sturdy, and the kit has some of the most fantastic allen wrenches I've ever used.I do have a few minor complaints:-No printed directions are included, just a pamphlet showing which rides are available, with a URL to go find the PDFs. Considering the length of the PDFs [20+ pages per ride] I understand the choice, but it would have been nice.-The positioning bolts for attaching the handlebars really need a hex slot on both ends. One of them got stuck when trying to change from the Skitter to the balance bike, and I never could get it out. I ended up just keeping the taller front post out of frustration [which worked better, but didn't negate the annoyance of wrestling with it].-The packaging doesn't lend itself to the long term use the kit is designed for. The main box is a wide, flat cardboard box with dividers that don't stay put well. It could use a handle at minimum, but even better would be smaller boxes that could be pulled out of a more compact outer box.-The hardware needs to be packaged better. The nuts and bolts are EITHER in neatly labeled bags OR in recloseable bags. The bags with zip closures have no labels and those with labels are of a type you have to cut open with no way to reseal. They should either use labelled zipper bags or possibly a divided box with labeled sections.I still love this kit and look forward to trying other configurations, as well as larger and more involved kits as my budget allows, but these changes would make an already great product even more fantastic.

Awesome kid friendly projects that they can really use.
Our little one loves to help and get use “daddy’s tools.” This kit allows us to build a wide array of rideable toys for him and his friends to enjoy. We will definitely be adding on to this kit as he grows and look forward to the numerous options it provides us as a family to have kid friendly projects to build.

Very good quality, but too slow for older kids.
Great quality and the kids enjoyed building it. We purchased the motorized kit and were very disappointed with the power and speed. My 9 year old was board with it pretty quickly because of how slow it is. Wouldn't be bad for younger kids, but not the age range they advertise. You can get a power wheel for a fraction of the cost.

Great quality, great fun for everyone!
I loved the quality of materials and how everything was nicely organized. I purchased it to build my 2 year old son a tricycle and plan on purchasing additional kits as he gets older so that we can build them together.

You'll want to buy more!
I love this product! It's super cool to be able to switch them up and build something new. We orginally bought this kit for my 3 year old but bc he loved it so much for christmas we got his 5 year old brother a smart kit and add one for the youngest! We will continue to buy addons as they get older and want different things! Thank you so much!
