perfect size for what I needed it for. Standard sandwich size that's waterproof. When I fall in the river the last thing I need is a soggy sandwich.

I love how durable these bags are. However they are not scent proof. Maybe [people] can’t smell the contents, but mice sure can. A mouse smelled my coffee through the bag and bit holes in it. Mouse didn’t like the coffee, but ruined the bag all the same. (P.S. Mice are literally the spawn of Satan.)

These bags are great.

Bought a handful of these bags to store food while backpacking, and two broke while packing before their first trip - never made it out the door day #1.The thin flaps of plastic used to grip and open the bags tore off right above the seal, so now it take a couple minutes of prying fingernails to get the bags open and the food out...The main bag's pouch walls seem durable to possible puncture risks(ie bones, hard plastic, silverware), but the open/close grips don't have the same strength. I can't imagine how someone would recommend these bags for sustained usage.Overall, wish I had just save money and time by deciding on Ziploc instead.

It's great for backpacking especially when backpacking in Yosemite where the bear definitely want to eat your food.🐻

I used this product for a purpose different from its intended use. Based upon the product description, I expected the material to be more substantial than it is so it did not meet my (off the menu) needs. From the appearance of the bags I bought, they appear to be adequate for their intended use.

Right out of the box, when I went to open one of the bags the top strip tore right off along the closure making the bag unusable. I didn't use anything sharp to open the packaging. Pretty disappointed by the quality.Edit: Second bag ripped one week later. Same exact tear right along the top of the closure. Both bags are now useless and going int he garbage. Did not hold odors that well and I'm pretty sure the bags tear easily because they become "brittle" in the cold.Poor quality, no response from vendor to resolve. Would not purchase again.
