Feels the business!
Had a cassette the other week with the most studded on cassette ever in all my years feeling bikes since early 80s. Had the same chain whip all those years and occasionally had to pop a jolly bar on to help. This time, soaking in plus gas, jolly bars both sides,IE one on long 12" bahco spanner, the other on chain whip, no dice! Twisted chain whip in progress. This. Was. Tight. Ordered this in a hurry, as looked better with tubular handle and decent length. Arrived next morning, and hey poncho, got the b*gger off. Still needed a jolly bar tho and had to push real hard, but this was up to job and didn't give an inch. Like that the chain is nut and bolted into tool so less likely to fly into your face and cause you to fall over when it goes! Yeah, We've all done it! Looks good with all the other Park stuff on the tool board too 🤠

Excellent tool
Simply do not bother buying anything else.I had a very stubborn cassette that I could not get off. It made mincemeat of my bikehut/Halfords chain whip, completely bent it. I was hesitant to buy this due to the price, but I’m so glad I did.It has a longer arm than a lot of chain whips which gives you that little bit more torque. The thing is very, VERY sturdy - I had it wedged between the concrete curb and the weight of my body, with my full body weight applied, and it lapped it up. The handle is rounded, which makes it more comfortable and better suited to being used with a scaffold pole if needed (I didn’t need to). It got my cassette off on the first attempt, no problem at all.Park Tool have a reputation for expensive - but good quality - tools, and sometimes you can get away with something cheaper, but you can’t skimp on chain whips. This one is such good quality, it is worth every penny, and I’ll be passing on to my kids, no doubt.

Great tool for professional use
Lovely big handle, this tool works beautifully and is a great addition to the workshop.if you are going to be using it a lot it’s definitely the one you want and will last years, if you are only going to use it occasionally there are cheaper lighter ones available that will work for you

Worth every penny
After destroying 2 cheap/flimsy chain whips trying to remove a stubborn cassette (one sheared the pin holding the chain in place, the other twisted), I decided to splurge for this one. Had the cassette off in 20 seconds once this arrived. This thing is stout. It can handle a lot of torque, and the chain is held on with small bolts and nuts, so it's easily replaceable with a piece of old chain if it were to ever break (I don't forsee this happening). Yes, it's expensive. But it'll likely last me a lifetime and save me hours of frustration. That's one thing off the list that I never have to buy again. Unless I lose it...

High quality tool, for reasonable price
After dealing with several "budget" chain whips that have bent the handle, broken the chain, etc. while removing cassettes from old neglected bike wheels. I bit the bullet and purchased one from Park tools. I was not disappointed. One of the best features of this tool is the fact that you can replace the chain if it ever fails. Unlike other brands who rivet the chain portions to the handle, this one uses a screw and nut. The handle is also just the right thickness in the palm of my hand that you don't worry about it slipping from your grip if you hands are oily.Overall, I am very pleased with this product and consider it one of the tools that it pays to buy quality the first time.
