I was originally going to buy Enola Gaye smoke bombs for a photoshoot I did, but EG wanted to charge me $36 for "special shipping", so I went on Amazon to find an alternative. I found these and I liked that I could buy 6 of whatever combo of colors I wanted, so it was a much better deal. I chose to get 2 purple, 2 orange, 2 white, and the seller was very communicative and got me exactly what I needed. I was a little concerned by the reviews saying that some were duds or that the smoke wasn't very strong, and that this wasn't a brand I was familiar with, but figured for the price it was worth a shot.Well, I was delighted and surprised that the smoke bombs I received were actually Enola Gaye! The pull rings take a little muscle, but these smoke bombs WORK. Very opaque, colorful smoke. We used these in the woods and the smoke lingered for quite a while and made for very dramatic effects. We had no duds in our batch.Word of warning: if you choose to hold these when shooting, be careful to not let it get in your face. It BURNS if it gets in your eyes, so just be strategic about wind and placement. The burn is temporary though and doesn't linger too bad.I did not experience any color transfer on my clothes but I was also wearing black so that may have had something to do with it.

I needed the smoke on short notice for a wedding photo shoot. I contacted the seller to see if I could get them next day. They worked with me to make sure that I got them on time and got the colors I wanted. Thanks for being so flexible! The photos turned out great. There was more smoke than I had expected, and it lasted a few minutes before blowing away. Over all, highly recommend!

The run time is quite a while and it emits quite a bit o smoke. We didn't use them for photography....These were great for our parade on July 4th, but just bought some more for another parade in September. We took 2nd place last time, and I know it's bc these bombs set us apart from everyone else.

These were very opaque and worked great for a photoshoot. They do get VERY hot, so it isn't something you can really hold to move around the smoke unless you're wearing gloves. It smells horrendous and burns your eyes, but that's to be expected. 4 stars for good product, but the fifth star comes from the expedited shipping. I paid for it, but got my dates mixed up and ended up needing them a week before I had originally stated and was bummed to do the photoshoot without them, but they came in at the last minute!

wonderful product. i bought these to test for an upcoming photoshoot and they performed well passed my expectations and were cool enough to hold while the smoke was pouring out. Well done and good quality product!

Bought for a photo shoot followed instructions, and nothing.... was very disappointed.

Ordered for my photoshoot and The smoke bombs we’re pretty but my red one was a dud and was empty. Other than that all the other colors worked. So order at your own risk.
