VW ENGINE love.
I had a new engine in a '69 VW BUS installed and this is the only oil she will ever see. This is tough and dependable. Cost? Amazon has a great price and free shipping! Easily saves me the dollars in down the road engine repair. I am confident this will keep her running long and strong.

VR1 Racing Oil
Valvoline is an industry leader offering a wide variety of motor oils for all applications. I run a Chevy street/strip setup using old tech flat tappets. The oil you find in auto parts stores today is formulated for roller lifter engines and current emmission standards. VR1 has additives not found in those motor oils. Also, try to find anything less than 40W or 20W50 in a store. I was pleased to know that I would no longer have waste fuel(gold?) shopping. I know other ways, way more fun ways, to waste fuel.

OIL LIKE IT USED TO BE!
For old car enthusiasts, this is the oil those cars grew up on.Today's oils have little or no ZINC, which is fine for newer cars because they were were designed to operate without zinc. For older vehicles, though, such as my 1963 Thunderbird, this is your best bet!B. Cole

Great Oil For An Old Big Block
This is excellent conventional oil for vintage engines. I have used it in a 1972, 454 for 20+ years. It will maintain viscosity at high temperature. Never let your oil level drop more than ½ quart, and you will be happier. Of course no motor oil can make up for a tired engine. Get the engine checked over and repaired first.

my husband uses this for his race car. The car runs great with this oil and is a great benefit/asset to the work that he's put into the motor.

Break In Oil!
Using this as break in oil, prior to switching to synthetic. Glad to see someone is still offering a High Zinc content oil. Thanks Amazon for a great price on the oil.
