Wanted to avoid Red Dye #82394 and keep things natural for my kid’s birthday cake. This food coloring came through with bold colors that screamed “fun!” and a flavor that whispered, “Did you just lick a beet?” The cake looked like a unicorn’s dream. It tasted like a vegetable’s revenge. But hey — my conscience is clean, my kid is happy, and no one technically gagged. Just…confused chewing. Would I use it again? Yes. Would I taste-test the frosting beforehand? Also yes. Nature: 1 Flavor: TBD

This product was impressive. Most natural color is dull and you have to use so much to even have a dull color. This product was great colors were bright and had lots of left over for next project.

Unfortunately I have yet to find a dye free food coloring that is super pigmented. These are supposed to be pastels, so they worked for Easter, but they still were not quite as bright as they should have been IMO. We went dye free about 4 years ago now and it’s a bit tough because we make sugar cookies for all of the holidays and the frosting colors just have not been the same. I will keep trying all of them though!

No odd taste. Good quality and easy to use, Colors came as shown on product. Came as packaged and sealed. I didn't realize they were single use when buying, the price is too expensive for me. On that alone, I would probably search for an alternative in the future.

I used this to color and paint snow with my 2 year old class. Since it does not stain, they did not ruin any clothing! It was great fun, especially for children who had never seen snow!

My household became a Red 40, Blue 1, and Yellow 5 dye free house. These all natural plant based food colorings are an amazing alternative. The colors are beautiful. Will be purchasing again!

What I don't like are the size of the single use packets. They are big. That being said, I am not baking with them and they seem to be holding their color mixed with water. I put the entire pack in a quart mason jar... I need blue liquid for a theater show to be splashed on a carpet, so the non staining is what got me interested as the liquid will sit on the carpet for a while until we can get to it after the show to clean. After letting the blue and water sit in the jar for at least a week, the color was still quite brilliant. I got an old dish towel and diluted my mix to be much lighter and splashed it on the towel. It stained the towel. Not as much as let's say red wine would, but even after blotting and trying Dawn there was still a faint stain. Depending on the color of the rug the director chooses this may work, but if it's a white run I'm in trouble. I got the red too and will play with that as I need blood to wash off walls, which I can actually make using real food coloring, but I thought I'd give this red a try. I will try to put the towel in the washing machine and maybe update my success with that, but for me, I can't put a carpet in a washing machine each night after the show, so I am going to try other blue drink products and see what may work. Note to manufacturer: Make the packets smaller and include more if your product has no staying power.

Terrible!!!!! Ordered to use for the icing on my granddaughters cake, colors weren't even close. Followed the directions, used the red and got an orange color. What a waste of money. Not only did I lose the money from my purchase I couldn't use the icing. Very disappointed 😞

First, I bought this to make fake blood (for a movie) and we needed food coloring that didn't stain. Then I also used it to make something for a cake ... I unfortunately dropped some on my jeans, without noticing until many hours later. I thought it would be ok, because it said it doesn't stain. Well after 2 washes, it's still there .... Also, if you are making cakes, beware that the color is really not the same. The red was super orange.... I would not buy this again.

Poor item. DO NOT BUY! Oily and awful. The oil pooled on the modelling chocolate I was making and I had to pour it off The red turned my fondant the colour of tomato soup. Tried adding blue to make purple and it turned grey. I would not recommend this at all.
