CuisinoxFood Mill, 9.4 INCH DIAMETER

My wife uses it for making fresh fruit jams, elixirs, and soups. She loves it. Can't wait to use it on this summers berry harvest.

This food mill is a Piece Of Junk. Bought it in May but just used it for the first time in August. I tried to put some Yukon gold potatoes through the medium sieve but they just kept getting pushed around the bowl and not through the holes. It would rub and get stuck. I absolutely could not reverse the blade as I’ve seen many chefs do. And yes the potatoes were cooked!!! Had to use a spoon to push the food through. I bought it Because I got tired of pushing potatoes through a china cap when I wanted puréed potatoes. Of course the deadline to return the product ended June 22nd! This things going into the recycled metal bin at the town dump.

No instructions. Cut my thumb trying to put it together. Used it for applesauce. Made the applesauce more of a puree. Not what I wanted. Washed it and used it for squash soup when I noticed black water dripping from the centre post into the soup! Like the handle gets full of water and drips. The inside of the handle must not be stainless. Also, you have to turn the handle till your arm falls off if you have any quantity. Sending it back. Worst kitchen gadget ever!

I chose this item because it was made of stainless steel. I would have preferred to have both both surfaces of the steel discs be polished rather than just one side for easier cleaning. the size is larger than other mills I've seen and can accommodate more food. So far, I am pleased with the way it functions.

A well made stainless steel product. It did a really good job mashing up my apple sauce. I found it a bit difficult to clean.

Just awful! Tried it today and you can't turn it without metal grinding as the discs are not smooth. I will be returning it.
