Oktoberfest Carnival Costumes for Women German Dirndl Cosplay Dress

Super cute, great quality, comfortable and unique. The fabric is decent, the zipper quality is good although the side placement takes help or some practice to get zipped. The size was perfect, true to size I would say. Definitely recommend this for anyone wanting a festive Oktoberfest dress that is traditional enough but also unique in color and style.

Bought this early for Oktoberfest this year since I may go to several and would like to have different looks. It’s about as authentic as you can get in modern America! (I do have a real dirndl that is def better quality, but this is a close second that would fool anyone—at least after it’s ironed/de-wrinkled lol!) I love the print and the vibrancy of the colors; very true to the pix online. I do also feel like I can wear this without a slip (ie it’s not see-through). The chemise is decent quality (not premium, but does a good job) and I love the trim detail! The chemise also runs a little big, and the whole dress is maybe half an inch too big, so while I’m glad I bought the 2XL, I’d def want to wear this with a bra (whereas with my real dirndl I don’t need to wear a bra). Regardless, this dirndl is very comfy, I can move around freely, and with the apron cinched and tied around the waist, it makes it the perfect size for me. The apron and the bodice laces are a satiny/silky texture and better quality than I expected! And I appreciate that this is a more modern-traditional length (not skimpy short) and that the apron ties are long in order to properly tie around the waist. The whole thing def needs to be ironed or steamed and I do wish it had pockets, but those are both easy fixes. :) Overall, I’m extremely happy with my purchase and can’t wait to wear it!! For reference, I am 5’3”, 180lbs, and my measurements are 44-36-46. I bought the 2XL and it was a tiny bit loose all around, but I think a size down would not have zipped around my bust. At least I can breathe and move in this and the apron helped shape the whole thing up just fine!

Love, love, love it. So lovely, good quality, and it fit well. My only complaint is that one of the hooks in the front broke & my co-worker who got the same style in a different color had the same issue. It’s also the only Scarlet Darkness dress/skirt I’ve gotten that doesn’t have pockets, but maybe that isn’t traditional. Overall it was a terrific purchase for work during Oktoberfest and it will definitely be getting used again next year. It held up to a 9hr+ bar shift and came out of the washer looking good as new. Plus, the top is a separate piece and so cute paired with other outfits.

I purchased the floral dirndl with navy apron and am thoroughly impressed with the quality and fit for the cost. The medium was true to size and fit perfectly, which is good since there is zero stretch. For reference, I’m a 36B with 30” waist. The cropped top is intended to be worn off the shoulder but I found it could be adjusted to sit just on the shoulder if you want to be covered. I wish it had a hook and eye closure at the invisible zipper and a pocket in the dress or apron but those weren’t deal breakers for my needs.

The quality of this is actually quite good, I'm pleasantly surprised and I would spend the $40 again. About me: Height 5'9", Bust 47", Waist 42", Hips 55". I purchased size 3X Dress: The dress is cotton, the bodice is lined inside with a shiny coat-lining type material, there is ABSOLUTELY NO STRETCH but the measurements are true and it provides good support. hidden side zipper. The piping and the stitching seem solid. The corset buttons are tacked on and they don't feel flimsy but they would be simple to remove if you wanted a cleaner look. Top: the blouse is cotton, again with no stretch. It's rouched in the center so you can adjust the fit a bit with draw strings. The sleeves do limit my mobility some but I can still put my hair up, it's not intolerable. Apron: the apron is a shiny polyester material, this didn't bother me because it doesn't touch my skin. The Apron ties are long enough to go around the back and tie in front but not long enough to tie to either side which is apparently a whole symbolism thing.

I loved the pattern of this but the apron is sad and cheap looking (it’s like super thin fake satin). Also the whole dress was a little too big but specifically I was swimming in the bust and the straps were too long. Tightening the corset just causes it to bunch up in a wonky way. I am like a 36 c/size 6 in dresses and ordered a small (the smallest size available)

Def not worth 45.00. The apron is very cheap looking/feeling. The sizing was off so I had to return for a bigger size. Once that one arrived, it had no tags on it (as if used) and the white under shirt was missing!!! So I had to do yet another return. I had to get another because my daughter needed for a play and we were out of time getting her a costume, so I was stuck with the product. I wouldn't recommend this dress at all. I'm waiting for the third one to arrive tomorrow, I'll update further if that one is also missing tags and items. It has been a pain to say the least!! I'd look elsewhere
