What sizes do the medium and large fit?

Medium is 32-34". Large is 36-38". XL is 40-42".

How do i indicate my preferred size on my order

There is no place to indicate size!

does the elastic around the leg opening hold up (and keep things in)?

The elastic does hold up, but keeping things in, unless you are on the small side, I would say no! I have bought Hanes underwear for years and have been happy. However the last couple years they must be trying to save money by skimping on the amount of material they use in the crotch. The crotch width now is about what you would expect in women's underwear! I find these briefs very uncomfortable to wear! Buyer beware on these.

comfortable and fits exactly as expected

Needed to restock on basics and grabbed these mostly because of the price and they have been awesome. They fit exactly as expected based on the size chart and feel way more comfortable than a couple other brands I have tried that run small or have weird seams in annoying places. Seven pairs for that price is a solid deal and the quality has held up well after a bunch of washes.

The only brand of mens underwear that fit me..

These are great undies! They are literally the ONLY ones I can fine (trust me I've bought way too may packs of undies) that ACTUALLY fit me for some reason?! Im 28. and 5'9'' at 120lbs. Every other brand Ill get a small and a medium to try, and the smalls are WAY too tight, and the mediums are so baggy they look like old mens undies. Between these in a medium, and fruit of the looms Boys XL, these are the only ones that fit right. I had to knock one star because for some reason the grey ones fit perfect, but the black pairs are oddly cut and one side is a gaping hole around the leg, causing things to not be um.... "held" right lol...

Poor quality compared to a couple years back.

I've bought this same set several times. They now are made much cheaper. The "pocket" that opens now just has a cheap stitch on the outside edge of the inside flap, not a seam like the outside of the underwear. This leads to it not covering or feeling like your constantly hanging out (or hanging out). The quality is what I would think a pair of Dollar Store underwear would look like. I ended up just using the older Hanes underwear these were supposed to replace and even those feel better than the brand new ones!
