I bought this for my 15-year-old granddaughter who just got her own room after the family bought a new house. I was looking for something that could grow with her, that would fit her now, and would also work for her as she grew up. I just got back from visiting them and this rug is absolutely beautiful (so great looking I'm thinking about changing the color scheme in at least one of my rooms so I can get one!). Because it is wool, I know it will last for many years. And both she and my daughter love it. In fact, my daughter has already begun hinting. The design is subtle and very beautiful and the feel of the rug is great. My daughter was very surprised that this was wool with how soft it is. I will buy more of the rugs by this compeny and, if Safevieh is the designer, I will definitely be looking for designs by this designer! By the way, the price and speed of shipping is also superb!

I purchased the rug in beige. It is absolutely gorgeous and even more striking in person than it is in the photo. I bought the same rug in blue-multi almost 10 years ago, and it has held up extremely well as it is thick and well-made. A minor issue is that the rug occasionally sheds, but a quick vacuuming takes care of this.

This runner looks great and is plush under the feet, but the quality is questionable. After the first time I vacuumed it, the design started to unravel and I have all these white strings - looks ratty now unless I trim all of the stragglers with scissors. Also, it sheds profusely- the photo attached shows the amount of black fibers from just one vacuuming! Would not recommend.

Was very happy to receive this ACCURATELY described rug. It does shed a lot but less each time..client using it in a sunroom and it's simply gorgeous. High quality feel and it has weight. They have lots of windows but no sunlight shining on this item, important to know.

I love the look of this rug - it is perhaps a bit more textured in the sunbursts than I expected (they stick up between 1/2 inch to 1 inch above the surface of the rug) but it's thick and the colors are nice. Being wool, it sheds a lot. I am also finding that the sunbursts are made of unfinished lengths of a material that unravels every time I vacuum and I have resorted to trimming the resulting long strings with scissors. I am planning to move the rug from my living room to my bedroom in hopes that less traffic will mean less maintenance.

While I love the color, it sheds horribly. The vacuum got clogged from the massive amount of shedding. Too late to return

I was so excited when we first opened this, but by the next day the colors of the sunbursts had already begun to look fuzzy and threads were falling out everywhere. I knew we were taking a chance on the rug's quality because of a few other comments; however, there were so many other positive reviews that I decided to risk it. As stated on some of the other reviews on here, the sunbursts start shedding and pulling apart within a day. Hoping these were just lose fibers from manufacturing and shipping, we tried vacuuming it. The shedding was so bad that it actually clogged our vacuum all the way through the entire hose and jammed every part of the vacuum where fibers could go. There were no instructions about care, so we treated it delicately. Unless you will never walk on the rug, plan to clean it using only a soft, damp rag and basically want it just for appearance (even then I would consider roping it off for protection) - the rug is useless. I wish I hadn't even given it a try because now I have to be disappointed to have found something so beautiful, only to watch it fall apart in front of my eyes, and my husband is grumpy because he has to roll it up, try to fit it back into the bag and heft it up to return.
